Happiness is Fragile

When you are healthy, it's easier to be happy. You look around you and think that you will be able to pull yourself up my your bootstraps when things go wrong but it's not that easy.

 In fact...it's downright HARD!!!

I splurged when Bath and Body had a 'buy one get one free' deal AND free shipping and got a nice supply of bubble bath. I love the Eucalyptus Spearmint and Lavender Vanilla scents best.

What's your favorite bath scent?

My husband is feeling much better and I feel good too. Thank you ALL so much for your prayers. What a difference they've made. I am humbled by your friendship and love.

I’m joining Thankful Thursdays.

Great news! Onward!.....

I am so glad to hear that. My mom and I were talking about quickly life can change. She fell a few years ago and while she recovered quickly, she has not quite been the same. We should not take one moment of good health for granted. That is why I love seeing your nature walk pictures. It is a reminder to get out there myself and enjoy the simple pleasures!

So glad you and your sweet husband are feeling better. I love all Bath and Body works products but I am not familiar with that product. I do need to go to the mall and pick up my spring/s summer scents in soap. I still have SNOW in my guest bath!!lol

This is indeed good news. The prayers and love don't stop just because the news is better! I'm glad you have a mini-spa in which to relax and smell very good indeed!

Sweet Diane, You said it...happiness is fragile. Our health plays a huge part in our happiness. When I say my prayers, I ask that God will let my families be happy and healthy. The older I get the more aware I become of having good health. Even at that there are times when out of the blue...issues can arise. Everyday day is a gift. Hugs to you and your hubby. Blessings always, xoxo, Susie

That is the right kind of attitude to have, Diane! Thank goodness that your hubby is getting better and that you now know what caused his illness....AND that he is once again able to do some hiking! We never know what life will bring from day to day but it sure is good to have some answers. I received a package from someone a while back and it was packed in a box like that. Now I know the box was from Bath & Body Works....I just love the blue checks! Take good care and I wish you a blessed Easter weekend!♥

So happy you are both back to feeling better. I don't take baths much any more, too hard to get up and down. Sending hugs!

It's been a long time since I've taken a luxurious bath - I can imagine that I would like the soothing scents that include lavender. I'm glad to hear that you and your husband are feeling better. I agree that it's more difficult to feel happy when you're not feeling well. I suspect that if I had a chronic illness that I would not be one of those inspiring people who face difficulty well...

Hi Diane, So very thankful you both are feeling better. We continue to remember you in our prayers. I love the B&BW's lemon dishwashing liquid but have not tried these. They sound delightful. God bless your Easter weekend.

Diane, I don't think I've ever bought anything there before but those soaps look tempting! Do you think you can use them as a shower body wash? xo

PS So glad your husband is feeling better!

Great to hear that your husband is feeling better now.
Not a bath person myself, prefer showers.

Yes, life can change so quickly. I'm glad a diagnosis was found for your husband and that you are able to enjoy life in the way you used to. I rarely take baths, but I love using L'Occitane peony scented lotion after my shower.

I also love lavender! I grow a lot of it in my garden as the deer don't eat it and I love its scent. Happy Easter, Diane (( hugs)))

I did not get to visit yesterday, but as I was praying for you last night I wondered if your husband was still feeling better. It is hard to deal with things when you feel bad.

I love the scent of roses. A bath filled with rose scented bubbles is my idea of heaven.

I am so thankful also that you are both getting stronger as each day goes by. There may be bumps in the road, but better days are ahead.
Happy Easter to you and your family.

I'm glad you two were able to "send back' those unhappy days and that you're experiencing joy again. It would be lovely if life could imitate BB&B and guarantee happiness.... but it's good to have it almost every day! Happy Easter!
