A Winner and a Storm on the way!

We are preparing for a major Hurricane here in Florida now and I would appreciate everyone's prayers. We're busy getting our house ready and buying extra supplies. Hopefully we won't have to leave but we'll be ready to do that if the need arises.

I'll post the conditions when I can.

The winner of my little giveaway is our sweet Sheri from Red Rose Alley. Isn't this a perfect little book for her? I won't be able to send it out to you until next week, Sheri, but send me your address so that I can get the package ready.

We've spent today shopping for extra groceries, taking a donation to Hospice Thrift Store and filling the gas tank. I'm working in the lanai putting things away. The lanai is not as secure as the rest of our house so we'll have to move the furniture into the main part of the house. (and I do have a few knick knacks out there to deal with! lol) Hubby is outside working on the grill and outdoor furniture and plants.

Keep us in your prayers dear friends! 💖

I've been watching the news all morning as I work -- very scary indeed. You never know if the weather people are just getting worked up or if it's a real threat. Sure looks like a nasty storm. Praying for all in the path.

Dear Diane, I popped by because I knew you lived in Florida so I wanted to check if the hurricane was going to effect you, which I now discover it will. Please keep yourself and your husband safe.
You are in my prayers.
With warmest wishes to you.

Thoughts are with you as we watch Irma from all the way across the country. We're safe and stuff can be replaced, but I sure hope we don't have to. Very worried about our friends who spend summers in our resort -- some of them are not in a good position for evacuation.

Be safe!!

Please batten down the hatches and stay safe, My Friend. Sending prayers your way! Our niece just moved to St. Augustine for graduate school, and we're trying to find her flights out to come up here to Birmingham.
