Well, I haven’t ever sold any but I’ve given quite a few away over the years.
Because I LOVE to collect them!
And Canaveral National Seashore is an amazing beach to hunt for seashells.
There are not nearly as many people there and probably 15 miles or so of seashore to walk! Lots of parking areas to walk down to the beach too.
Much of the beach looks like this.
Tiny ground up pieces….
and then you’ll walk up to mounds of shells like this.
And come home with THIS! lol
We even found around a dozen pieces of seaglass this time.
Have you ever walked the beach picking up shells? It’s the best feeling in the world! Kind of like a treasure hunt!
I’m joining Mosaic Monday HERE

I always look for seagrass at the beach at Gulf Shores but I never find any...it is so pretty!
A seashell mosaic how pretty! I'm a collector of shells also but alas I never find sea glass on our Normandy beaches.
Happy MM.
I need a trip to the beach.
Lovely collection. Happy mosaic Monday
Much🌼love
I love your seashells. I too pick up a few to add to my collection each time I go. Currently I have a jar I am filling up with nothing but very small white ones.
I was not into shells, but my mother picked up almost every shell she came to. she had shells in every container all over her house, lamps and bowls and in front of books on shelves. she had shell jewelry and shell animals. she never met a shell she did not love. i love the beach like this one, very few people and miles of sky/sand/sea
There is nothing better in all the world! Once I was walking the beach down along the coast of Texas and praying God would bless me with another child. I was in my mid 30’s and God had placed such a desire for children on my heart and then when I couldn’t get pregnant, I was so very disappointed. I had two children by the time I was 18 but now I had this strong desire for two more. As I walked the seashore I asked God to show me a sign if I was going to be a mother again. I started finding sand dollars. Entire ones. One was just perfect. I didn’t get pregnant right away but I did have two more children by the time I was 39. Motherhood has been the calling for my life and I am grateful for that every single day. I would live my life over again - including the trauma and drama of all the painful years - in order to have my children. God saved the best of life for last for me!
Both my daughters are beach lovers and collect seashells.......the beach is their happy place.
Yes, I used to walk Naples beaches all of the time looking for shells as well as Sanibel and Captiva! Love the sea glass you found.
Wish I was standing right next to you------
It's one of my favorite things to do!
Diane, I would need a huge tote to bring home all the shells. I would not know when to stop. LOL My daughter just received a package from here son in Seattle...he sent home the sea glass, shells and rocks she had found on her visit there. She left them behind, afraid she would not get them thru airport check..:) When I go on trips, I always find a rock to collect...problem is I never marked them, but I love them still. Blessings to you and your hubby, xoxo, Susie
I'm like you, Diane--I love to collect shells and sea glass! I have a big collection of both. Now that I am far from the ocean I treasure it all even more.
Have a wonderful week!
Beautiful mosaics Diane -- my favorite way to collect these days is to make lovely pictures of them (as we have run out of space for the real thing).... the beach looks wonderful.
Beautiful to see! Very nice!
The sea water in The Netherlands is very cold now.
Oh yes, I always pick up sea shells down by the sea shore! I've made lamps, jewelry boxes and picture frames with these little beauties. They are truly gifts from the sea. Thanks for sharing your lovely walk. ♥
Treasure hunting while getting a work out! I happened upon hundreds of 3"-ish conch shells one year, forget if it was March or April but it was after a storm. Gathered as many as I could and turned them into Christmas ornaments for everyone:@)
Yes, but not one that goes on forever! 🐚
Would you believe I've never picked up a shell from a beach? Here it's all rocks ... which (sadly) is MY obsession ;) I have so many collected rocks, it's not funny. I have stopped now because I hate dealing with them when I get home ha ha! You found some lovely shells though, and the sea glass is pretty (I like the greenish pieces). Have a wonderful week Diane!

Yes, I have walked the beach looking for shells quite a few times but haven't for a long time.
A fun thing to do.
I love to hear the wave breaking on the shore. Wonderful place to walk and you don't even need walking or hiking shoes, bare feet do fine. : )
It sounds like a fun, relaxing thing to do! Our beaches are closed for the season!
(ツ) from Cottage Country Ontario , ON, Canada!
I'm always looking for shells and sea glass at the beach. My best finds were at Sea Island and Sanibel.
That is amazing! I've never seen so many seashells at the beaches near my neck of the woods. I'm envious!
There is a bowl full in our guest room but we only pick them up now if they are perfect. Makes the hunt a little harder and we don't end up with pounds and pounds of broken pieces. I do love the sea glass!!!
Heading to the beach in Fla. in a few days, I would love to find some sea glass but I don't think I will find any in Panama City. Love the shells and the glass. Great job.
Yes, you are so right, finding a special seashell at the beach is a real treasure indeed. I used to have a beach house and love to have a few shells from our local beach by the front door, it was always a happy reminder that the beach was a short stroll away!

You made lovely mosaics of the seashells and seaglass. Looks like you had fun under a warm but still gentle sun. I also like to be at the beach at this season not only hunting seashells but also digging clam.

Hello, you have a beautiful collection of sea shells. I love the sea glass too. I love to walk on the beach and hunt for sea shells. Have a happy day!
Howdy my friend, i love that first picture---there you stand, by the sea! Best place to be, right? That is a really pretty beach--we've not been to that one. Looks like you had a great day for it. You have a really nice shell collection and wow!--you found sea glass! It never washes ashore here, not any that I've ever found anyway! It's so pretty, I would be thrilled to find a piece of the bright cobalt blue or the light green! We had a busy weekend here and I just now am getting around to visiting everyone, and I just put a new post up.
Diane, your walk looks like a little piece of heaven! We don't have many seashells on the Texas shores...I wonder why that is?
In answer to your question...you bet I have. It is also great exercise with all of the bending and stooping . I have decided that mid April is the perfect time to walk on the beaches of Florida.
Walking the beach, picking up shells is one of my favorite things to do ever! I have lots of shells and love them all. Don't think I've ever found sea glass but maybe one day!!
I loved seeing you standing on the beach. I wish I were there hunting seashells along with you. That wooden boardwalk is beautiful!
It's lovely to collect sea shells.
Your photographs are so nice to see.
Hope you are having a good week.
All the best Jan
Dearest Diane; Oh, I DO reminisce we went to the beach to swim and collect seashells when young; taken by our parents(♡˘◡˘♡) I remember that I made the collections for summer homework. I did enlarge the pictures and loved the seaーglass as well♪ Beautiful collage and Yes, wonderful treasure hunt.
At first, your title made me smile and wondered the what this post was about p;-)
Sending Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan to my Dear friend, xoxo Miyako*
Seashell collecting is a wonderful way to bring home bits of the beach. I have a modest collection of them, although what I really search for is sea glass. I almost always come home with a few pieces in my pocket. How lovely your wide beaches and blue oceans are. It's not very warm by the beach here yet.
Diane - for a time we collected shells because we had a sea theme in one of our bathrooms. And my daughter also created a lovely shell display board for a school project - we had fun putting that together. Now, with our log home, I am not sure the shells we have fit the theme ... so they are waiting in the garage for a decision .... I am so glad you can find a beach that is not crowded - I struggle with crowds these days!
It sounds wonderful - look at that beautiful blue water! Love your shell mosaics! xx Karen
Just walking along any sandy seach would be wonderful in itself, and finding those awesome shells a bonus!
How fun to have those walks on the beach finding sea shells and glass. I like you collection of shells. My cousin makes beautiful craft projects with sea shells.
Thanks for sharing at our link party.
Have a nice week.

I envy you. I love sea shells and sea glass. I would give anything to walk on the beach and find them. Maybe in a couple of years we will be able to go to the beach.
I have to say that I'm a wee bit jealous . . . wish I was there walking the beach with you :)
Thanks for sharing, your photos are lovely.
Connie :)
