I don’t walk as much in my neighborhood in the summer months. The asphalt street absorbs the heat all day long and even in the evenings it can still be HOT!
But I like to walk around the block to the little pond.
You never know what you’ll see!
Baby ducks!
Mama duck trying to keep her brood together!
And Papa coming along to lead the way!
So precious!
A little ‘fuzzy’ because of the twilight but still fun to see.
Isn’t this tree beautiful in full bloom?
One more view of the pond!
And then on the way home, a rainbow appears through the trees!
It just doesn’t get any better than that.
And it makes you SO glad you walked with a camera hanging around your neck!
I’m joining Saturday’s critters HERE

Hello,
I am glad you take your camera along on your walks. I do too, you never know what your might see. Lovely views of the pond, duck family. The rainbow is a beautiful sight. Thank you so much for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend! PS, thanks also for your comment on my blog.
what a beautiful place to visit and have so close,
Ah. It's so good being near water. It's been terribly hot here.
Pretty late evening photos!
Baby ducks are so cute
Have a wonderful weekend!
Your neighborhood looks like a lovely place to walk (weather permitting). How sweet the little duck family is and that rainbow is a beautiful ending.
Wow! I’m always in awe of the beauty all around you! What a lovely place to live!
There’s no walking around hereday or night! I’ll do some Tai Chi in the camper with the AC on. Even cracknked up high, it will be a little warm in here by the time it’s the hottest outside.
Happy Saturday!
Lovely with the ducks and rainbow! So hot here I've not ventured out much. This old gal can't take the heat like I use too!
Lovely photos, always!!
Seeing the ducks made me smile. The pond is lovely, as is that pretty tree and the rainbow. A nice evening and a blessing for sure.
you are blessed to have all this beautiful cool water and trees to walk around to and from. the parking lots here are like walking in a furnace... even our pool deck is a furnace
What a wonderful walk in the neighborhood, Diane. And a precious duck family. The area around the pond looks so green and groomed. And my favorite was the rainbow. Such a special gift after your walk on your way home. : )

I loved absolutely every photo on today's post. Each was better than the one before. That rainbow was special. And the ducks were so cute!
LOVE that rainbow! And such sweet ducks/ducklings!!
Thanks for joining us at I'd Rather B Birdin', as always.
I love seeing a bit of your neighborhood, Diane. I think it is wonderful all the planned neighborhoods in FL...they are much different than the ones that we have here.
I hope you have a beautiful, blessed Sunday- xo Diana
You sure do have a beautiful place to walk. Love seeing the ducklings. The tree is beautiful and enjoyed seeing the rainbow. Have a wonderful day.

Preciosas fotografĂas, me encanta ver a la mamá pata con sus patitos detrás, besos
Isn't it amazing the wonderful gifts you find from Mother just a rock throw from the front door?
Don't you love seeing a parade of baby ducks? I do! And is that a rainbow or a sundog? Either way, fabulous!
Beautiful and lucky to have that nearby destination!
I love the lush, green of the country. The Duck families are so precious! The biggest surprise was the wonderful rainbow. Thank you. Love from Aunt Helen
Love those little ducklings! You had a really pretty evening walk.
It COULD have been better...if you had looked closer under the rainbow and found the pot of gold.
