A Tag Journal!

When my sweet cousin Cindy came to visit, she brought me lots of ‘pressies’! She filled a huge bag with crafting supplies from her stash and oh what fun I had playing with everything!

She also made a few pockets with tags. And that gave me an idea. I’ve seen the tag journals so I decided to make a couple of them.

I sent this one off to her. It was great fun to make and nicer that a thank you note, don’t you think?

(one without the silk ribbon so that you can read it)

The tiny photos are selfies she took with her phone and then printed out on her handy dandy printer!

Have you made anything like this?

I enjoy small projects more and more! And it’s nice when you have lots of new supplies to play with!

The one I made for myself!

I love the idea of the tags, Diane. Do you actually take them apart and use them on gifts?

How special is that?? I’ve never seen something like this but I love it! My fingers are getting so arthritic that small projects are not my go to any more! But I sure do love what you made and I have a real fondness for tags!
Happy Monday, my Dear!

Small doable projects are becoming more appealing to me Diane. Love those cute tags. I have some tags, I should embellish them My Kendall loves doing collages so maybe she could help me.

I've not heard of those either, but I'm not a crafter. Very sweet and I agree that it is much nicer than just a thank-you note!

Those are wonderful., and it sounds like she brought you the perfect gift. Sort of reminds me of trying to take a gift to my sister when we were house guests. She is a cleaning freak, so I filled a basket with every "new" cleaning product I could find. She loved it.
I have been traveling, so I am trying to catch up.Have a wonderful week.

I've never seen anyone do a tag journal, but it sure is cute, I love it! Very neat idea. Love all your new supplies she gave you. Are y'all staying cool down there? It sure is HOT HERE. Cant really be out in the heat of the day at all, so we venture out late in the evenings. Are y'all slowing down on your walking or keeping going in the heat?

PS... I forgot to ask--do y'all swim?
