“Scenery”

When I drive to Halpata Tastanaki Preserve, I’m always intent on seeing birds or wildlife.

htpIMG_8395

But of course that doesn’t stop me from taking dozens of ‘scenery pics’!

htpIMG_8409

It has been the most beautiful summer here in North Central Florida.

htpIMG_8403

Our temps have not been too extreme and we’ve had enough rain to keep everything nice and green.

htpIMG_8376

So let’s enjoy the scenery!

treeIMG_8412

Oh, wait!

swIMG_8366

Is that a Swallowtail Kite high in the sky?

swIMG_8365

Well, it’s a good thing I have plenty of film in my camera. (just kidding)

pumpIMG_8414

I need to take just a few more pics before I go.

We expect it to be HOT here in Florida during the summer months, but it hasn’t been bad. How’s the weather in your neck of the woods?

I’m joining Mosaic Monday HERE.

we are only 2 hours south of you and it has been HOT here.. really hot and still is. it amazes me how much different the top half of Florida is from the bottom half. the scenery is so beautiful... and could be any where in the USA, pastoral is what it is. love the fence shot

Halpata Tastanaki Preserve is gorgeous. Hot, humid and miserable here.....

Those were the days when we always had to check that there was a film in the camera and a spare in our bag! Don't you just love a smartphone!
Here in Normandy July and early August were scorching but the last 2 weeks have been more like Fall, well I guess it is almost September.
Happy Mosaic Monday.

Pretty hot and muggy. We have three more days of it and then seasonable coolness again. I may survive! Yes, it looks beautiful and blue and green down your way.

Lovely scenic pictures! My favorite is the fence and watering pump. I can just see it being used in the pioneer days.

As for our weather... Well, here in the Midwest we are experiencing another intense heat wave. It's almost unbearable to do any work out doors, at least for today or so... then our humidity is supposed to (hopefully) reduce back to normal! We had some chilly temps last week and I'm missing that a lot this week - already!

Blessings on your Monday! Net

I'm so glad your summer has been good. Our summer has been as well even though the humidity is quite high today which is normal for us. We've had more rain than usual so we have green as well in contrast to our normal baked look! Love seeing the lovely park. Great shot of the kite! ♥

Diane, I loved all the pictures. Love the sky shots. Our weather has been hotter than I can remember. We have had good days here and there. I am so ready for the windows to be opened and the AC turned off. LOL. Blessings to you, xoxo, Susie

It's been really hot and humid here in Northwestern Pennsylvania. I don't know if it's worse than past years or if I just can't handle the humidity like I used to.
Your scenery shots are wonderful. I was going to go out and visit a park today but it was just feeling too miserable out there.

Beautiful, lush scenery photos, Diane. I'm glad it's not been too hot there in Florida for you. I've not minded the heat here this summer, and it's cooled right down now. I even pull up the blankets at night!
Have a wonderful week.

I like to see good scenery pictures too! I love the first one the best! Yesssssssss it's been a long HOT SUMMER here. It would be nice to get a cool spell, I would so enjoy that. We had one whole day with the humidity low last week and oh my goodness it made all the difference in the world...we went and walked and walked, it felt so good and so much better.

What pretty scenery on your drive. The green grass, blue skies and white clouds...it doesn't get much better than that. Oh, we see many beautiful things on our drives, don't we?

Have a wonderful week, Diane.

I am pleased for you that it hasn't been too hot. We have had typical weather for Montana - warm days with low humidity and no rain - as long as you stay in the shade, it is truly lovely. We have a few forest fires, but the smoke has not been as bad overall as last year, and conditions are improving as the weather cools down. Yippee! Enjoy your Labor Day weekend!

Your scenery pics are always great! And I love that you have so many outdoor adventures. Weather here is cool and humid. We've had a lot of rain in Wisconsin but today might see some sun. I think the high for today is supposed to be 61F. How you have a wonderful Wednesday!

Beautiful scenery.
Our weather has been a mix of sun and rain and it never gets very hot here in summer. It is like one long spring.

Love the mosaic, the scenery is beautiful.

Our weather in the UK is beginning to cool down and we've had rain for part of today.

All the best Jan

Oh my gosh the scenery is remarkable and so lovely and green. I am so jealous of your swallow-tailed kite picture. I saw a few before we left Florida last Spring, but could never get a decent picture (lots of blue sky photos where one used to be though ;>0

Such lovely photos of beautiful country.
I don't make Mexican food at home very much...Tacos are easy and a Mexican casserole that we love...when I am REALLY hungry for it, we always go to a favorite place on the other side of town.....
