Surprises keep coming!

Two of the sweetest people I know gave me gifts this past week

….just because!

Aren’t they the BEST kind!

My sweet cousin Cindy sent me a package filled with craft supplies!

AND a beautiful quilted pouch she made just for me. My small IPAD fits inside perfectly. But I might use it to carry craft supplies. Lots of possibilities!

Then lo and behold! My husband came back from the store with a new set of pots and pans.

Mine were awful and I think I might have complained about them just the tiniest bit. I might have mentioned it just one or two times! heehee!

Plus he cooks as much as I do so he was tired of them too! (I know I’m spoiled! My hubby COOKS and SHOPS! I’m SOOOO spoiled!)

It sure made me feel special this week….and very very thankful!

I’m joining Thankful Thursdays.

Hello, the pouch is cute. It will be great for your crafts or ipad! My hubby likes to cook too, not as much as I do though. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day!

Your new pans look quite nice! My hubby can't even boil water, so I'm glad you know how blessed you are to have a hubby who cooks!! Fun surprises in the mail are always the best!!

😃 What nice gifts all around. What meal was first made in the new pans? Did they work great?

The main thing is that you notice and appreciate what he does! I have that same frying pan! Use it all the time. Enjoy a freshness to your cooking with the new set of pans.

I have a set of cookware I never used, just a good sale and figure I will in the near future.

That pouch is so cute. I love it. And of course the craft supplies are awesome as well.
I just bought new pans about a year ago because mine were getting really bad

What great gifts and all the more nice because they were surprises.
At one of the houses I've lived in I had the same stove as you!

Lovely gifts from your family, Diane! I can't imagine my husband buying pots and pans. No, he doesn't cook but does so many nice things for me. While I was at PT this week he surprised me by cleaning the house! ♥

It's always nice to get new pots and pans. Mine are getting a bit worn too. I couldn't help but notice the red checkered/rooster dish towel. I've always loved red in the kitchen and had it for many years until I changed to blue. Sometimes I think of having red again. Lots of craft goodies from your cousin. How thoughtful of her.

love, ~Sheri

GOOD surprises are the best - make us feel warm all over! I am also blessed by a hubby that does all the grocery shopping and cooking … the tradeoff is I do all the cleaning (except his domain, the kitchen!)

Adorable swag my friend and who wouldn't love new pots and pans? Now if you have any crafty ideas on how to store them let me know!

The best surprises are the unexpeted ones! Well, I suppose that's what makes it a surprise. I love these, each and every one!

What a lovely gift from your friend. That quilted pouch is adorable! And your husband is the sweetest! NEW pots and pans. They look so shiny - it's a shame to use them. :-)

What lovely thoughtful gifts. The little pouch is adorable - and new pots and pans are always fun. I'm spoiled too - Don doesn't cook much - except for specialities during the holidays, but he does all the laundry, all the shopping, plus makes the beds each morning - and changes the sheets for the lucky princess (me). Now you can show us some of the yummies that are cooked up in the new pans. Happy eating my dear.
