Are you ready for some FOOTBALL?

Most of you know that I raised 4 boys! And during that time I learned to love football! I watched football and during half time, I went outside and caught passes and kicked field goals. Well, that last part may be a bit of an exaggeration! But I HAVE watched and ROOTED for the Dallas Cowboys since the '70s! So I'm looking forward to the Fall football season! I have a new bag of thin and crispy Tostitoes, sharp cheddar cheese and salsa to make nachos! (and low carb beer in the fridge)

And yes, I've dressed some of my dolls for football season!

My husband even ran in Dollar Tree and bought a little nerf football.

I wonder if I can make a field goal with that?

Wendy has an Arkansas Razorback outfit on! Thanks Aunt Cindy!

And Mellie has the Carolina Panthers dress on (thanks to a clearance rack)!

The little Cowboys pjs are from the Etsy shop HERE!

And completely off the subject of football....I have a new favorite blog that I think some of you would love.  The Homemaking Daily...lots of great ideas and insights on happy homemaking!

What's new in your corner of the world? What team to you root for (if the Cowboys aren't playing! heehee)?

I’m joining Thankful Thursdays .

Your dollies are so sweet dressed in their outfits! I have raised three sons. One son is a big football fan and he cheers for Dallas. He loves it that I have a Dallas hat! It's pink but it still has the star on it. My oldest son and his fourteen year old son cheer for New England. Our grandson plays football and it is his whole life at the moment! I'm still trying to understand the game. ;-) My hubby collects football hats and has quite a collection now. My third son is a math professor and has no interest in sports whatsoever. He is more into music. This is such a fun post! Have a great weekend.

Too cute! I swear I am going to get a doll....I never thought I would say that but yours are so cute and what fun to sew their little outfits for all the different occasions.
I am excited this year because I have t.v. again so I will get to watch football! I'm a Chicago Bears fan but I think I watched the Cowboys pre-season game the other night. Not the entire game as I can't stay awake that long!LOL!
I have to get the schedule out and the "tail gate" recipes....there's a Mexican dip I used to make..I hope I can f ind it. Yum!

Denver Broncos. Though they are having a rough time. New coach; new quarter back. I did not know that your raised 4 boys. And the dollies look like they are ready to cheer on their favorite team. Happy Fall, Diane.

Such cute outfits. Enjoy your football and nachos! Sounds like my kind of football. My husband loves college football and I prefer watching the grandkids games and taking photos of them. I already got the official notice and big hug, it's Football Widow Season for me! (More time for me to do my own thing.) So glad to see you're still blogging. Enjoy your day!

Hello,

You dolls dressed in the Dallas Cowboys outfits are so cute. I am not really much of a sport fan. I will check out your new favorite blog. Thanks for the link. Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy weekend ahead!

My goodness, those dollies are just too cute! You've given me a new goal for when my kids are all grown up: dolls!

Thank you for mentioning my blog today; you are too kind! I love yours as well. :)

I should at least like it but I hate it. Going to Kevin's high school games was torture and I was so relieved when after being injured too many times and forced to gain weight for his college team (a lot for his position -- they wanted him a 300 pounds for his height) that he quit. I was sorry about the injuries -- they will be with him for a lifetime -- but so relieved he's out of it. I don't even like to watch it... I'd rather play with the dolls!

Your dolls are adorable 💕 And they look so cute in their football outfits. That is not my game! The only sport I watch on television is tennis - now the US open!

Diane, My grandson used to want me to play all sports with him. He played everything, but football only while he was in about 2-4 grades. I love those cute doll clothes. So sweet. The football is perfect to complete your display.
Blessings to you and yours, xoxo, love, Susie

Pittsburgh Steelers were my first love... I grew up in the era of the Steel Curtain, and watching with my daddy was how I learned the game. A close second are the Niners; I grew up a California girl!

I love that you love football! So many women hate it! I love it myself and my team is the Denver Broncos. I lived in Denver for 5 years and you have to become a fan when there... LOL I have been catching all the pre season games and can't wait for the start of the season. :) Kit

Over the years I tried to get interested in football so I could watch with Wade. I just couldn't do it though.
All your dolls look cute dressed for the season.

My husband loves all sports and we watch baseball all the time and it will be onto football next. The dolls are dressed up so cute and I know you have fun with your girl dolls!

Cute outfits. I'm not a fan of any sports and luckily, neither is my husband! Thinking about you and the hurricane that's enroute. Hope you are safely out of its way.

I'd have to root for the All Blacks if I watched, seeing as I'm a Kiwi, but then that's a totally different football game :)

I was happy to see
Wendy got all dressed up for her football game. I guess the girls will all be routing for different teams. Well, I am a Gators fan, being here in Florida; But I will watch the Broncos too, as my dear cousin lives in Denver. Your photos of the Birds and Deer were great! Love, Aunt Helen

Your dolls are so cute dressed up for the football season hehehe. I thought Mellie was real at first. She looks studious with her glasses. That's wonderful that you played around with the football outside with your sons and you learned to love the game. My son played for many years, and I didn't miss a game, but I don't really watch football on tv, except when he's around and only for a few moments. : ) Such cute clothes for your dolls, and I love all the blue.
