Happy March Mosaics! What a week!

We are retired and you would think we would find time for everything! But with our hiking schedule, we never get caught up! I'm not complaining though. I love a busy life that is filled with interesting things to ponder. A few people wondered why I am spending so much time saving old photos but I guess they are a part of my life...something that documents my days. I keep 2 journals too. I love to write down the happenings of the day and what we see on our hikes.

Here are some pretty wildflowers popping up everywhere around North Central Florida. There are hundreds of flowers along the roadways and hwys too but I haven't tried to photograph them yet.

We have a flock of 30 or more Goldfinches at our feeders this morning and lots of birds out on the Florida Trails.

This Flicker was especially pretty! And the little Downy Woodpecker is a favorite.

Are you seeing signs of Spring where you live? Bright sunny skies count too!

This Great White Egret walked through our neighborhood this week! And the other photo is a hike on the Florida Trails!

Beautiful blue skies! Enjoy your week!

I'm joining Angie for Mosaic Monday HERE .

I'm linking with All Seasons at the Jesh Studio,

The Spring flowers are so pretty! Our blue skies and mild temperatures are great for hiking! I love the stately Egret! Such wonderful memories in all your mosaics. You have a special way of combining photos. Hugs, Aunt Helen

Beautiful photos and it sure looks like spring! It doesn't feel much like spring this morning, I'm freezing lol, but looks like it will be a gorgeous day! Enjoy :)

Happy International Women's Day.
Your wildflowers are lovely. We here in Trinidad and Tobago are in The Dry Season, but we got some rain showers over the ladt couple of days.

Much💜love

Absolutely gorgeous photos today! And that is a lot of birds to have at your feeder. I often wonder why people say things like they wonder why you are wasting time saving photos. What I wonder is why people say things like that because even those saving photos is not my thing I do know that it's yours just like collecting dolls is your thing. My thing is playing with software and there's nothing wrong with any of it it's just what we like to do. This morning I was thinking that one time someone said to me why do you wear your clothes so loose if you wore them more fitted you would look better and my question is why would you ask me that I wear loose clothes because I like those clothes why do you wear fitted clothes

It must be so nice to go on those walks and see such pretty flowers, trees, birds and so on. I always enjoy looking at your photos. Thanks for the blog visit and have a nice week. Happy hiking Diane!

I love seeing the photos from your hikes... and your explanation of them all... but I'm one of those who would love to hear the "everyday details" of your life as well: what you made for supper, the results of your doctor visits, what type of yardwork you do, etc. etc. You know, the everyday details of life, similar to what I post on my blog. Some people aren't comfortable sharing that or don't think it would be interesting to readers. But I do. :-) You post what you want to though... it's your blog. ~Andrea xoxo

Hello Diane,

It is amazing how fast the time get filled up, the days and months fly by. I am happy to be retired, we can do what we want and when we want. Your hikes always sounds wonderful, a great time just being outside with nature, the birds , pretty flowers and skies. Take care, have a happy day and a great new week!

I like my photos and my journals too. I love to stroll back through both! The wildflowers in Central Florida are exquisite to me.

you dreated some beautiful mosaics today. Berries and flowers and bautiful greenery. We still have winter, a few signs of spring then cold again. But spring will come.
I too use my photos as my diary. The brain forgets and alter memories but the photos don´t change. They are proof of what I did.
Like today. I met a bunch of wild boar cults :) Not posted yet though!

It seems that Florida is a very good place to live! I always enjoy your beautiful hikes and the very pretty birds and flowers. It's terribly dry here. The weather ladies throw around the D word, drought, which we don't want to hear, but know that we are in a drought. There is supposed to be snow on the way too. Were we younger, Florida might be an option. And yes, retirement keeps us busy.

Lovely photos and I see the same signs of spring that you do! You just document them much better than I do! So pretty!!

Diane - your new header is terrific! In Montana, we have a few signs of spring, but it would be premature to say it has arrived. In some parts of Montana, there is a winter storm going on!!! (Not here - the first robin showed up today but didn't stay long.) So, I will enjoy your spring for now! Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday!

Love the mosaic-style photographs! I loved being retired, all six months LOL. I'm glad you save those old photos. History is precious.

You spook out of my Soul Diana.

Indeed, we are retired too - and have no time. Each day is filled with many things to do. And of course, I do it slow. We enjoy, by the way, the afternoons to have a walk. To telephone with friends, to see a Film in TV and so on...

...have a wonderful week.

Happy MosaicMonday

Hi Diane
It is so true that even being retired and with covid restrictions, the days go by quickly and on most days I feel my "to do" list never shortens! Time is funny that way. I loved seeing your photo of the egret walking around your neighborhood and your pretty trail and sky views!

I don't see egrets often, so when I do, I'm very excited. :-) I think I do more different things, and a lot of them, so it seems, now that I'm retired. I love it. Cheers, Diane!

I am loving seeing so many things starting to bloom and the birds have been great this month so far!! Love your photos...you see the best stuff where you walk. Thank you for sharing it. I know it is hard to stay home and do things when you can be outside enjoying so much beauty around us. And the weather is wonderful. Thank you...

I like the last mosaic. It is unique to see the pines up close and in a panorama. :-) The Egret makes me smile, looks like he wants to hitch a ride.

Beautiful photos, Diane. I keep old photos, too, and journals! Spring is starting to make an appearance here, but it's slow. The days are lighter and brighter and that's a most welcome thing. Daffodils are blooming. Have a great rest of the week.

Beautiful photos! They remind me of the photos my daughter would send while she was living in Gainesville. While she's happy to be back here, she does miss the lovely Florida weather in January through March.

We seem to stay busy too somehow even in these odd times. Maybe it is because we move slower ))). Beautiful hiking trails ... I do miss Florida, but am actually quite enjoying the transition to Spring, which, as you remember, is more noticeable “up North” (or up Northwest in my case.).

So many wonderful sightings, and especially that Great Egret that walked right through your neighborhood. Lots of pretty flowers, and that silly Woodpecker. I sure love that bird. It's been sunny the last couple days here, but we are supposed to get a little snow on Sunday. I think Spring comes a bit later here in the mountains, but I don't mind, as I look forward to seeing all the seasons when they come. : )

Have a relaxing weekend, Diane.
