If you had a choice....

How would you choose to travel? And where would you go?

We drove over to Ross Prairie Trailhead on our way to hike at Halpata Tastanaki Preserve.

There's a campground nearby and we saw this nice Motorhome. It's not the biggest one made but a great size and very luxurious.

But we also saw this little home made camper.

Isn't it adorable?

What do you think? Which would you choose?

It was a beautiful day! And we were so happy to see several Florida Scrub-Jays at Halpata Tastanaki Preserve. I hope this is a mating pair!

There's some great info on these beautiful birds HERE. And we noticed they are featured on the cover page of the Audubon magazine this month with an interesting article inside!

Enjoy your day! Get out there and drive around!

You may discover something interesting where you live, too!

I'm joining Angie for Mosaic Monday HERE .

I'm linking with All Seasons at the Jesh Studio,

AND my Monday post HERE.

...for a while travelling isn't a choice for me.

I like very much the home made camper, so that will be my choice!
Happy Spring, Diane!

We took a drive on Saturday in the snow! We thought it would be Turing to rain but nope. Had to turn back home since road conditions got worse instead of better.

As to how to travel - I'd opt for car and nice hotels. I think my camping days are over.

That is a hard choice! The whimsical abode is so charming, yet I am old and in need of creature comforts... 😁 Have a good Sunday! Hope you'll be out hiking somewhere.

The little homemade camper is adorable, but I think I'd rather travel in comfort and luxury.

Oh that cute little camper is adorable. Reminds me of the caravans gypsies lived in and traveled in from books I have read. For comfort I would want a great big camper but for cuteness that one wins every time.

at first i was going to choose the little house, because it is so cute, and the truck could be unhitched to leave it at the camp site. then when i realized someone would surgely steal it. i would go with the luxury of that beautiful motor home

Oh, those campers!!! While I adore the smaller one, I think I would do better in the larger one! Thanks for the inspiration to get out and about. Have a lovely day in your world. We may see the sun today!

I vote for that adorable little camper! That is so cute! I would definitely travel in it. I'm hopeful that with herd immunity we will all be traveling more in our near future. Cute post!

The little camper is adorable, but I think if I were traveling I would want the larger one. It looks as if it has more of the comforts of home. Can't wait until things open up and we can go traveling again.

I choose not to travel as it's just not my bag. But I love "traveling" through other people's pictures. I "go" to Florida everyday, thanks to your blog!! :-) ~Andrea XOXO

Very hard choice! I of course adore the homemade camper it is so pretty but I am a creature of comforts so I would lean more towards the modern newish looking camper :-) keep well Amanda x

Hello,

Sounds like another great outing and park. The homemade camper is cute. I love your Scrab Jay photo, great sighting. Take care, enjoy your new week!

That is such a gorgeous place and the birds too! Hmm I think I would visit the West Coast as I’ve never been there, would like to see Portland sometime. Nature sights, scents, tastes (yumm fruit!) and sounds inspire my poetry. :) :)

I'd probably need to take a peek inside both before I could make the decision. The homemade camper sure is cute though.

Too hard of a choice for a Monday morning for me:) My sense is that Hubby would choose for the motor home, because of his height. Both look a great choice! Hope you are going to show All Seasons more of your walk/hike another time? Have a lovely week, Diane. Jesh

The homemade camper is adorable but if I had a choice I would go for the luxury model.

Yo elegiría la grande, la veo más segura. Besos.

I love the little homemade one - it reminds me of a bird house.
BUT I would rather travel in the RV - I like my comforts. :)

I would like to travel again in *almost* anything! .... Very nice pair of Scrub Jays. I still wonder if there is a difference between the and the scrub Jays we have here in the Northwest.

Angie said...

Diane - Between those options, I would definitely choose the little adorable camper!!!! But right now, if I could go anywhere, it would be Grand Cayman to go scuba diving!!!! The photos of the jays are great, and I hope they have lots of little jays. Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday!

Cute little camper!
I have never been camping, and too old to start now. We used to travel a lot, but now that I'm older, I like to be in my own bed at night. That doesn't mean I sit at home - we enjoy one-day trips!

When I viewed the thumbnail, I thought it was a bird house. How amazing that it is a camper!

But I'd go with the modern camper.

that is a great selection of motorhomes. Love the little green one :)
If I could do one mor trip of my choice I would go to Yellowstone for three weeks. Wildlife of course, but mainly to see everytning worth seeing when it comes to volcanic hot springs and all. I would really want to get a video of the sodapopping springs. I have images of the bubbles but the video failed adn I never seen any on Internet. I don´t think people listens. I would like to see them all!
Take care!

Well, I'd prefer the real camper RV to the little camp trailer, but it is very cute and wouldn't be bad for a short trip over night...Someone was very clever! Love the Scrub Jays! You were blessed to find a pair of them together! Wow! That's a treat!!! They are so elusive, and to find a couple is amazing. You do have the best places to hike near you.
Thanks for sharing.

Both campers are nice, but I think I'd like the one I could drive just a bit better. I'm into comfort. Enjoy your day, hugs, Edna B.

Oh, that's a very good question. After Corona... there are many wishes, where we would to travel. First to drive again with our Goldwing. And of course to Visite our Family, our friends.

Stay healthy and have a wonderful week.

For now I like car trips. We recently took a 3 hour car trip to Rhode Island which was nice. I like both motorhomes. So nice that you can get out for those hikes all of the time. Thanks for the blog visit Diane and enjoy the week.

I do like that smaller motor home. I would like one. Bob, in his previous life, has had several motorhomes and/or trailers. They camped a lot. Florida has many many excellent campgrounds it seems. Enjoy

I’d like the little camper on a regular size truck, or an RV that looks like the camper. :-) Happy dreaming, Diane.

Hi,
I love the color of the Scrub Jay! Do they make a pretty song?

That little camper is darling, and if it was bigger, I'd travel in that. But since I don't like traveling much, I'd prefer something that had more room and comfort. That would be a cute little house for the grandkids hehehe. Oh, those Scrub-Jays are so lovely. So glad you had a nice hike that day, Diane.

I love the look of the tiny camper but would not want to stay in it for long. I'm more of a glamping person now than camping. age does that to one.

How glad I am to find you here again!
After so much time, I can write a comment to an amzing post of yours, those posts I’ve never forgotten!
I’ve been away from the web since the reseraches and the drafting of the history essay I wrote for an Italian publisher about the Habsburgs took up all the time I had.
But I’ve finally come back.
Sending blessings on your weekend
