Which of these are true?

1. I've hiked 53 hikes so far this year.

2. I hiked alongside a horse at Blue Run Park.

3. I won the lottery and lost 10 pounds.

4. I bought a new red Jeep!

5. I watched an Eagle soar overhead.

Answer at the bottom of this post.

A few of you have asked what I've been up to lately besides hiking. Decorating, playing with dolls, cooking, crafting? Well, to tell you the truth with the weather so beautiful, we are hiking as often as we can. The weather will get hot soon enough and then I can pursue other interests.

(a hint)

But for now, I'll hike with a horse if the opportunity arises! We have never seen a horse at Blue Run Park and the man was nice enough to stop for a chat.

On the left a little boy was on his little bike and I'm on the right. (we weren't nearly as close together as this photo looks)

It was something you don't see every day!

He led him across the bridge.

One more pose....

And then he was gone!

We didn't hitch a horse in the parking lot but look what is waiting for us there!

A new RED Jeep! And oh how I love it!

It would have helped if I had won the lottery but I don't think you can win if you don't buy a ticket and I haven't been on a diet.

Answer : So NO I didn't win the lottery OR lose 10 pounds!

Everything else is TRUE though!

So now you know all of my secrets....well....maybe!

I’m joining Saturday’s critters HERE

and I’d Rather B Birdin’.

Hi Diane,
you have bought a new red Jeep and it looks really nice :-))))) Also the big eagle above your head is really fantastic to see :-) It is also great for walking. Spring is now also starting here, so when I have finished my work I can also take a nice walk now and then.
I wish you a very nice weekend.
Greetings, Helma

LOL, you had me going there. I was sure you won the lottery and losing ten pounds should be easy since you hike so much. I love your new Red Jeep! Great shots of the horse and images of the trail. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a happy weekend! PS, I appreciate your visit and comments.

I love-love-love to see all the beautiful pictures you take and I love to share in your hikes. But I'm like your other viewers too in that I'd love to hear about more of your life & what you're doing, than hiking. Talk about your health, what you made for dinner, how your children are doing, post pictures of any grandchildren you may have, did you get the vaccine, opinions on current news events, relatives, church, and all that jazz. But yes, please keep posting about your hikes too... just maybe mix things up a bit, from time to time. :) ~Andrea xoxo

I got all the questions right. Who needs to win the lottery when you've done all those other things! :)
LOVE your new RED Jeep - the perfect color!! I wish you happy driving with your new Jeep and may to you drive it to many future hikes!

Nearly right. I guessed all five. I love that Jeep and the colour. Over here we call that model "Jeep Wrangler". I always wanted one but they are rather large for our small driveway (and expensive). Have fun in your new Jeep. I would.

OH! What a beautiful new red jeep!! How exciting! And perfect for heading to the trails! Love it! And that horse is gorgeous. If I were younger (and hadn't already had back surgery) I would love to ride that horse on the trails. What a nice ride that would be. We've been having some beautiful days...just need some rain, which is supposed to be coming I hope. Enjoy your new "ride", and keep on hiking!

What fun to meet a horse while out for a hike!

I love your new Jeep. When (not any time soon) I get a new vehicle, I am thinking I will look at Jeeps. We have a very very very (VERY) old Jeep that we keep for beach trips, dog trips, etc. I love it!

This is the only blog I'm commenting on today. I've been so busy! But I had to come and see the surprise. Congratulations, it is a very handsome Jeep. And so very different from mine with it's soft top and two doors. I'm so glad you are enjoying it. Have a nice rest of the weekend, my friend. In your red Jeep. They don't come in Lavender, I take it?

That red Jeep will bounce 10 pounds off of you, easy! So no worries about that, soon it will all be true! How thrilling to see a beautiful horse on the trail. I would be amazed to see a horse that close!

lol, love both the 4-legged and the 4-wheeled. :)
How cool is that it have a red jeep! I guess it will come to good use where you live. In fact it would come in handy in my town too, nowadays there are many bumps and narrow places in my town. And tiny roundabouts to pass through. :(

I got every one of the answers right except for the Jeep. That was a nice surprise! It's a beauty and I love the color red. Our niece that lives in Pennsylvania has to rid Jakes one for her and one for her husband and of course the dogs ride in hers

Love love love the bright red Jeep. When I first met Bob 10 years ago he had a red jeep. We had much fun road tripping in it. And then one day some lady ran into him and the jeep and that was the end of it. Nobody was hurt except Jeepers.
Beautiful horse and how nice the man was to pose with the horse. No lottery, no poumds lost (although you look great) but hike you did.

How wonderful that you got a new Jeep! And it's red! My very first car that I learned to drive was a Red Fiat, and it was such a sporty car. Jeeps are fun to drive, and they are good for traveling the roads. So happy for you, Diane, that you got such a nice car to drive. Safe travels. : )
