Do you see what I see?

 It's a two tailed bird....right?

Up on the top of Bluebird of Happiness Hill!

Or a bird with a VERY large head!!!

Walk slowly so we don't scare it away.

And take LOTS of photos because you may never see this again!

Then right before your eyes, you blink and everything becomes clear!

YOU look very odd to US too, hiker with the pink cap!!!

There were lots of Doves perched here and there on this particular hike on the Florida Trails.

And now we need to pick up our pace.

We don't want these Buzzards to think we are easy pickings! heeheehee!

Every hike is different. No matter how many times I hike this same particular section of the Florida Trails.

πŸ˜ƒ NEWS FLASH!!!! πŸ˜ƒ

I'm going to take a blog break for the rest of this month. We have some things we need to get accomplished and I won't be on the computer much at all. I'll miss you and look forward to hearing all of your news when I get back!

Have a wonderful month of July!

Be back before you know it!

I’m joining Saturday’s critters HERE

Great pictures of the doves. I always like to see how they perch and just watch us. I wonder what they are thinking. And then the vultures...well, I don't really WANT to know what THEY are thinking! And yes, I step lively when I see them giving me the eye. Hope whatever you are doing is going to be pleasant. Take care and we will look forward to hearing from you when you get back to us!!

You are so right about hikes changing every time! And what an interesting example you show!! (Part of the change is having a good eye and you definitely do.) Enjoy your well-deserved blog-break!!! (I hope the things you have to do are fun stuff, at least partly.)

Hope you are staying safe with the storm on the horizon of Florida, not sure if it will affect you or not. I agree, you just never know what you will see on your daily walk, no matter how many times you go! I enjoyed your double-headed bird pictures! So much beauty to see around you! Stay safe and enjoy your time away from the computer :)

Hi there, we have mourning doves here too in Canada...a very calm bird. Have never seen vultures...amazing size. Meanwhile, enjoy your break; I do that a couple times a year and it feels like refueling.
