Hiking and biking on the Marjorie Harris Carr Cross Florida Greenway!

We got back from our camping trip and I headed for the Greenway!

The Marjorie Harris Carr Cross Florida Greenway!

It's close to home and always a good hike.

I did not ride a bike but when I looked up the hill on a side trail, these guys waved at me!

Of course I'll get off the paved trail for my hike!

It's a great place to see birds!

These Palm Warblers really have some pretty color at this time of year.

And there are monsters in the forest.

I tried to make this one a monster but I'm not sure.

What do you think?

At the end of the hike, I looked down the firebreak and saw a Wild Turkey.

We may be camping again soon! I'll visit when I can!

Happy weekend!

I’m joining Saturday’s critters HERE

  and Mosaic Monday HERE !

Love the colorful Palm Warblers and your attempt at a forest monster. I can definitely see a resemblance to the Flying Spaghetti Monster in that.

Lovely birds - and a monster, for sure!

It's great to have a dependable place to go hiking and it looks like you have one. I love how they have designated no bike trails. That makes a big difference.
You found some nice birds.

For some reason I regard seeing wild turkeys as a good luck omen. They always surprise so when I see them.

So awesome to have a turkey sighting. I would call that a successful outing!

Dear Diane, you brought some nice photos from your hike - the Palm Warbler is really a handsome guy, wild Turkey is also great! Hmm, I'm not sure about the monster - I see a whale fluke... Yes, I think it's a whale that's been on a diet! ;-DD
Have fun camping!
All the best & hugs, Traude

The "monster" startled me! It looked like a snake at a quick glance. I just found a shed snake skin curled up in the back of my shed. I screamed - then forced myself to calm down and clean up the mess. Ugh. I guess I'm still jumpy. Ha Ha!

Love your bumper sticker!
