Greenway Sightings this week!

You know the saying about getting back on the horse after taking a fall.
Well, mine was a 'bear scare'!

And I went back out a few days later to face my fears!

On the very same trail....at the very same spot....I had a wonderful sighting!

This beautiful 8 point Buck.

I'll even share the first two photos before I had a chance to get a better sighting.

White tailed deer will many times run away but not very far.

Then they will turn and see if you are still back there!

And that allowed me to get past some of the weeds and trees to get a better view.

I was so thrilled to see such a magnificent deer.

Earlier I had seen a small deer with his Mama following along behind him.

And on the short distance that I walked on the paved part of the Greenway, I saw these guys.

I think these are electric unicycles! Very cool, don't you think?

My first thought was....where do you hold on?

But they were zooming through, smiling and waving at me!

It was a beautiful day to be on the Marjorie Harris Carr Cross Florida Greenway.

The weather has improved. It's still hot but not as bad as the past few months.

And I think 3 deer equals 1 bear in excitement, don't you?

Have you had a chance to enjoy nature this week?

I’m joining Saturday’s critters HERE

  and Mosaic Monday HERE.

These are beautiful photos, and it's a lovely place for a walk.
I prefer the three deer to a bear.
The butterflies are gorgeous.
I wish you a wonderful weekend.
Greetings Irma

That buck is so handsome -- what a perfect sighting. Much better, I think, than a bear!

I don't blame you for being a little nervous going back out after the bear episode! We have a lot of deer here in Pennsylvania and I see them frequently in our yards- but I have never seen one as striking as the buck!! Stunning and great photos! Judee

Loved going on this hike with you! It's been over 90 degrees here so too hot to go on walks 🔥 🥵. Love the gorgeous deer sightings! 🦌 we have many on our land here and I still get excited every time they come out in the evenings! Bears--- I do not like bears!!! Lol 😆 🤣 😂 merry weekend!

What a beautiful dear that is.
I've never seen an electric unicycle. Those are pretty neat but I think I would be afraid to ride one.

Amazing photos of the deer, and I would sooner see them in person than the bear. Good for you for going back. Happy hiking.

You have taken very beautiful photos of the deer. It must be fantastic to see these animals in nature. I'm out in my garden every day, and I enjoy it very much!

its been 6 months since we were even able to go to the dog park close by. the only nature I see is grass in the back yard and only go out there when Beau has to GO or I need to work on the pool....that buck is amazing and gorgeous and out of this world handsome and so are the photos you took. wow. I much rather meet the buck than the bear.. no way could I ride those whatever they are. the look like they were friendly and having a blast

it has gotten so hot here, we have gone on quite a few drives but i can't stay out in the heat very long!! what a gorgeous buck, he sure did have an eye on you!! i have not ever seen electric unicycles, very cool, but i think you would have to be very young to balance on one of those!! beautiful captures of the butterflies!! enjoy the rest of your weekend!!

Another great hike! Awesome shots of the handsome buck.
I would not be on a unicycle for long, I assume you must have a good balance. Love the butterfly and all your photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.

Haha that’s so true! 🦌 They’re curious little creatures—always checking back like, “are you still following me?” Such a fun thing to observe in nature 🌿

Hello, what a gorgeous wander with you this week, and me, oh my, what a stunning sight, altogether much more relaxing than a bear! I thought those unicycles were amusing too, I'm not sure I could manage these for sure!!
