Come into the lanai...

We spend most of our time in our lanai or Florida room.

DSCN4385

It has windows on three walls so it gets a lot of light and beautiful views of the golf course.

It is the perfect room to hang out in....no TV or computer! heehee!

We've been looking for a coffee table that complimented our furniture and finally found what we wanted.

DSCN4396

We ordered it and the very day it came in, I found this cute little red table at my favorite thrift store for $4!

So it was a 2 table day!

It's sunny here today so I will be in the lanai

....won't you join me?

Have a wonderful day! I hope the sun shines on you, too! smile_shades

It looks like a great place to sew bears. Comfortable with lots of light...you need that when embroidering their noses!

P.S. Left you a note on previous post too.

You and your hubby are just adorable beautiful people!!

Now, I do quite love your Florida room. Maybe one day I can visit your Florida room and you can visit my Arizona room ;) tee heeee - OKay I don't have and Arizona room anymore, as it is now my bedroom, but the idea was cute don't you think?

Or silly, whichever way you look at it ;)

I heart your new table and the thrift store find red table works beautifully, also with your pillows!

So tropical and fabulous!

Love the lanai! The print on that couch is perfect and fabulous. So is the coffee table and your choice of centerpiece baskets. I'm going to pretend I'm there sitting on that couch sharing our friendship today!

beautiful! Also, love the furniture you chose. I think I'll DRAG my hubby to Wicker and Things to replace the drab furniture that came with our Florida get away house. Your taste is wonderful!

The sun is shining here in Western MA today. The crocuses are in bloom and it's 58°F. Sweet!

Lovely room! Are the sofa and rocker vintage pieces?? Our classmate, Sally has a set of furniture very similar from the late 40's or 50's...I've laways liked it. Your upholstery looks great!

As we drove home from Portland Oregon in the middle of a rain storm I said to my husband...I'm flying out tomorrow on a jet plane for Florida. He said have a fun FLORA DAY Jackie, just remember to come back to me! Now this morning I see I can come sit in that soft chair with Diane and we could be Queens for the day!

Loved visiting the cozy sunshine of your lanai. I hope I am not too late to visit and have some tea.

The red table was a steal, and the Bobbsey Twins book (as usual) made me smile.

Do you play golf or just look at others playing?

How'd I miss this invitation to spend some time in such a beautiful room. That red table is a great thrift store find!
