A special THANK YOU!

I appreciate all the decorating ideas I got in
my post showing my new red kitchen!

I just wanted to share the links for some of the
talented decorators that shared their expertise!
I am so excited about the change!

We haven't actually moved into our new condo so
we are happy to get the rooms painted before we do.
Nikki is painting the living room and dining room today!
THANK YOU, Nikki for adding color and energy to our lives!
And then she will tackle the guest room and guest bath.
They will be different tones of beige and cocoa brown!

Here are a list of bloggers that have wonderful blogs and GREAT ideas!

Thank you, friends!

I have a red kitchen and it was quite a shock at first. I had to get rid of my red & white check curtains and put up a black toile.
I already had new black countertops, but found the black
"anchored" and offset the red. My cabinets are white, table and chairs are dark wood. I have a white shelf around the top of the eating nook. Try black accessories.

I LOVE black and would love to find some black iron work or heavy wrought iron to display on top. Thanks for your comment, Connie!

Hey Lavender! You entered my OWOH giveaway and mentioned you are in NC mountains (I'm in Raleigh). Can you please e-mail me with your e-mail address as I have some questions for you - husband and I are trying to currently find a mountain home in NC. Thanks a bunch.

I recently helped a friend paint her kitchen red. I like it a lot and yours too. My dining room is red - one red room is enough. I have decoarted the tops of my cabinets also and found that grape vine from a craft stor spotted and draped here and there up on top softens the look. Try it. You might like what it looks like. Actually andy kind of silk greenery works well.

oh I love your red kitchen!!
REd is one of my favorite colors.
We had a house fire almosts five years ago and moved back in after 6 months. We had to rebuild and pick colors etc. I only have wall space under the cabinets and above the counter top. It is going to be repainted red now it is a creme color.
My dining room is varigated red white pink but mostly red on brown paper and applied like wallpaper.
Everyone loves it.
Our kitchen has back appliances and sink and red highlights.
I also have red/white enamel ware sitting in stacked advertising boxes in the kitchen,
