Creativity!

The weather has been glorious all week and what have I been doing? SEWING!

10Mar

I am sewing up a storm! The projects I am working on are so much fun that I can't stop! I'll share them soon! I'm still working on perfecting a design. I always start with something simple and then embellish!

We did make a couple of runs to get more frames this week.

Well now my curiosity is showing. I love to see what people are sewing or crocheting or knitting or any kind of creativity .

The fabrics you are showing at the top of your post are very pretty,

I have given you an award because I love your blog especially your Wednesday Wee Ones.
If you are an award free zone you can just ignore it.

Keep sewing and have fun with it.

Iris

I just found your blog and enjoyed it all the way back to Christmas. Welcome to FL. It has been too cold since the first of January. (I'm in So. FL.) I love that you take your children with you - doll people are so special. Blessings, Janet

I haven't had a sewing project for SO long..and I love fabrics. I think it's because I have to drag out the sewing maching and set it up and then the room is a total mess until I'm finished. So other than hem up curtains etc. no projects...but then I saw that beautiful rose covered fabric .. and suddenly I wanted to make something. Anything! :)
It's so neat that we inspired one another.
Your kitchen counters are so neat. My husband would LOVE you! :)
Love and hugs,
Mona

p.s. I just watched Anne of Green Gables AGAIN! And it isn't even raining outside! :)

Yes...the Queen of the Sewing basket will be extra proud of you. I love the picture by the way of the cabana house...your own storybook home in the land of Florida!
Off to Seattle tomorrow for work and I don't wanna hit the freeway at 630am. I'll be up with the birdies blogging first. That'll set the tone for the day...perfect!

I can't wait to see what you are creating; I love that fabric up in the photo! And the caption of your post fits me as well...it's been very nice here in Ohio the past week and I've been in the basement sewing and not enjoying the weather! :o|

XOXO,

Cyndi

Oh, I have lots of fabrics lined up (for a post) that inspire me to sew (something)..., but then there's still work to do on the house. Love the paintings and that you put one by the kitchen counter/backsplash!

Sewing is great! Last Thursday I went to Joann's for fabric and the colors of thread that I needed.

Happy Sewing!

Hi Diane, What fun you must be having with your designs and sewing. I too love to work when it rains. But hardly seems like work when you are having so much fun sewing.
Love the reds in your kitchen. Really makes it pop. Your artwork is wonderful.
Today we had temps reaching the mid 70's. Yeah, so welcome after our weekend SNOW!!

Have fun creating.
Hugs, Celestina Marie

Oh, you are teasing us! I'll have to come back to see what you are making.

The added art in your kitchen looks really good with the paint color. I especially love the little cabin painting. Could you tell me who the artist is?
