Pincushion Design

I love to make them...but I could do better!

Basket6861

I am always trying to design a new pincushion but my designs take a couple of tries!

HeartPC6852

This one is supposed to be a shell...

but I really need to make another one with more of a scalloped top. I did enjoy sewing all of these little shells and the charm on...so sweet!

This is an apple that looks like a pumpkin....

and this one could be a pillow for my dolls! lol

But they are FUN to  make...quick and easy!

And I really DO love this one!

Madame Samm is hosting a pincushion day! Visit her here at Sew Dolls !

And enjoy your Friday! Have some FUN!

Is anyone else this hard on themselves when they create?

I love pin cushions too ~ I have a couple patterns but haven't made any yet.
The fabrics you used in the "doll pillow" pincushion look so pretty together and the little red one is so sweet!

They are all very cute, Diane! And yes, I'm a perfectionist so I am very strict with myself when I create but I *am* trying to loosen up a bit. The project I showed today, proves that! ☺

Very creative indeed my lavender-lovin' friend.

I've entered your name into my drawing for the sachet hanger and the card/tag set. Thank you so much for stopping by.

I'll be back soon. You have a wonderful blog!

Hi Diane! I am catching up after being away from the computer for awhile. My dad had surgery and I've been helpeing out. I am always critical of my work! Just ask Lindsey. I think your pincushions are great, but I know how it is you always think you could have done better. I love the way they look all in the basket. Have a nice weekend! Twyla

I think they are lovely! I love the shell one with the little trinkets hanging down.
I am hard on myself, too but it's really all about the making, isn't it? Keeping your hands busy and your mind inspired. I love when you share what you've made!

Hi Diane. These are really really cute. I love the blue, white and golden brown one in the middle.

I am hard on myself at times when I create. I want whatever I do to be as perfect as possible. Wouldn't be content otherwise.

They're great! I really like the one that looks like a doll's hassock. So cute!

You are just going to town on your sewing, girl! And they're all so cute. Especially the shell. Sorry I haven't been around in a few. You know why of course. I loved every minute of being with her. And have relived it over and over in my mind ever since last night.

HI Diane...Those are cute! Easy for you, a mystery for me who can't sew a stitch! Don't forget to get over to The Calico Consignment Shoppe. You are one of six contestents for tomorrows price but you have to guess the price of the three items...good luck on the game show!

They all look great to me. The shell is really unique and so pretty with the addition of real shells.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend.

Hmmm...I just wished that I could say that I even made a pretty pin cushion! Hehe! You are a great seamstress...and I love all the different patterns and beautiful fabrics that you used! Sooo pretty! I would be hard-pressed to choose a favorite, although I really did like the shell pincushion with all of it's pretty baubles! Thank you for sharing your pretties with us...loved them!
