Spring is definitely in the air here in Florida!
View out my kitchen window....
We have trees budding, flowers blooming and pollen in the air!
The side of our house....
These little girls wanted to dress in cool Spring dresses...
matching, of course!
Meet Greta...
and Elka.
They are German made dolls,
the artist is Brigitte Leman.
And baby makes three.
Enjoy your Spring weather!
It's in the 70s here this week and gorgeous!
Remember to take time to PLAY! (updates on my sewing progress will follow soon, I promise!)

That huge tree is just gorgeous. Reminds me of the one we had in our front yard when I was a child in St. Simons Island, Ga. It had moss hanging off of it. Your little dolls are very pretty.
My Mom used to dress my sisters and I all alike. ;-)
I'm Jealous! you have beautiful blooms and I still have cold days and nothing blooming. Pretty soon though.(I hope)....The dolls are adorable and I love the matching dresses...they look so real. Have a beautiful day Diane! hugs, Jennifer
What sweet little dolls in their matching spring finery! I especially love the baby.

Hi Diane, what a beautiful neighborhood.....that tree is wonderful.. spread out in all its majesty. The dolls are lovely...I love little Elka's sweet face....you truly are blessed with the most beautiful doll collection....thanks so much for sharing them with all of us.....blessings
What beautiful flowers and lovely dolls! My aunt made dolls and clothes like that and would sell them. In fact, I had her make my two youngest daughters one each. It is a nice keepsake for them. I love the spring outfits your dolls are wearing.
Oh how cute! How chubby they look, lol. Thanks for sharing Diane!
I think it's going to rain today. Not many trees budding in my yard. Well, there are some on the west side where I never seem to go. The big crepe myrtles haven't done anything yet. So enjoying spring!

It's drizzling here in south Texas, but spring is definitely in the air (pollen - cough cough), but the beauty of spring is here.... Yea!
Your view out the window is breath-taking; the tree and flowers are gorgeous!
The Germans sure know how to make beautiful, life like dolls, and the dresses are so precious!
Thank you so much for lifting me up in prayer and your thoughts!!
What a pretty shade tree! I love these three dolls, especially Elka--my sister in law is named Elke. She likes dolls, too.
Can't wait to see your projects!
Wow what a fantastic tree! Beautiful...looks like one that boys love to climb...or tomboys like me! Hee hee!
Have fun playing Diane.
Warmest hugs,

What a beautiful big tree and pretty pink flowers. We had a gorgeous spring day here in NC today. Sunny and in the low 70s. The dollies look all ready for Easter. So pretty.
The little ladies are very cute and springlike in their fashions. Spring is slowly arriving here and your photos give us something to look forward to in the near future. Enjoy the lovely weather there!

What a beautiful tree! How wonderful that you have that view from your kitchen window. And, I'm sure the Wee Little Ones enjoy the view as well.
If you can pop on over ...I'm having a giveaway for my 200th post!
Isn't it nice to be finally LIVING spring and not just be thinking about it?! It's slowly but surely coming on here. A couple of flowers are starting to shoot up here, and the pastures will soon be burned and that's a sure sign of spring!
Hi, first time here to your blog. Very pretty. I love the German dolls. I was always fortunate to have German dolls when I was little. Now many of them are massed produced in the USA. My mom did make sure though to get her granddaughters dolls from over there but by the time she went over there and bought the last one she said they even were less expensive over here.

Too cute! I happened upon your blog via cozy little house. I see you sew & will definitely be back to see what you're up to!
We've got about another month before spring hits us - I'm so jealous!

they are breath-taking! the way you pose the baby makes her look so real. i like the way you've got bracelets on the girls and a ribbon on the wrist of the infant. my friend used to tie a baby ring on one end and the rest of the ribbon on her baby's wrist.
How lovely!!!they look so real!
Take good care of them, how sweet!
with love,
Annalisa
I KEEP DOING THAT! Making comments and then leaving without completing them...
What I said :) is that I have way too many dolls and can't give them up to great granddaughters! I keep saying "one day soon!" and then never do!
Yours are just adorable. I love their little mouths!
