And now for the horse of a different color…..

Have you ever seen a horse that looked like a dalmation?

Very odd indeed….but beautiful! (photos taken through the windshield!)

And speaking of critters, I bought Miss Martha from Jan at Burnt Woods Primitives !

She makes some of the most amazing little critters!

And I’ve been looking for one to nestle in my bowl of apples on the coffee table!

Perfect….look at the detail! Thanks Jan!

And does anyone have a head of lettuce?

Because I have dressing…. and recipes!

I won all of these salad dressings from a Giveaway that BJ had at Sweet Nothings ! Thanks BJ!! I’m eating a lot more salads so this was perfect timing! And they are delicious!

I hope you’re having a glorious morning! The weather here has been so beautiful that we’ve spent more time outdoors and less on the computer!

Hubby and I have taken several day trips lately and I have lots of photos to post! Mt. Pisgah up close….

You’ve seen views of the mountains from my balcony….

But now let’s take a drive up into those mountains! We have to drive through several of these…..

But have you seen the condo from the mountain top?

We spent the day on Mt Pisgah and could see our condo through our binoculars…..

from this overlook! (it shows up better with the binoculars! )

It was really  neat! (our condo is in the center of this cropped photo!

My other news is health related! (and so I am including a photo of ME on Mt Pisgah ready to do a little hiking!) I decided to change my diet….add more healthy veggies and cut my carbs and sugar intake….and I’ve lost 10 pounds (in three weeks) ! YAY for me! I have also exercised every day! So that has made me feel better (along with my clothes! lol) I did not , as so many diet ads say…..lose 10 pounds and 5 dress sizes! heehee! But my clothes feel loose again and I have more energy so I am very happy with the difference!

Any encouraging words would be welcome! It’s not easy losing weight at my age! lol Hope you have a marvelous Monday! I look forward to visiting you!
