I love mice...but what should I do with these?

This almost sounds like a 'scary' post! But I really DO love mice!

They help me in the craft room....

DSCN0095

I made these cuties!

And they might even answer the phone if it rings....

DSCN0097

but what about these 'cuties'?

DSCN0092

What's wrong with them....and what should I do about it?

They are from Knickerbockers and are numbered and collectable....

DSCN0093

but there's something about their look that I just don't like!

DSCN0094

Should I try to alter them? Would you change them and what would you do?

Do you think it's the eyelids? lol HELP! I need your advice! They're going back in a box if we don't figure something out...and SOON!!!

Enjoy your day...and I know...if this is the only thing I have to worry about, my life is pretty good! heehee!

I can see what you mean about the bears...I do think it is the eyelids..and also perhaps the ears..they don't look like they belong - if you know what I mean....just my humble opinion...

Merry Christmas

They are a beautiful collection and btw, I love handbags too. There can can be too many of them. Happy decorating Diane.

They are cute, but I would tend to think the same thing as Wendy in the comment above. I remember your mice and think they are as cute as ever.

Well, mice and I don't have a liking to one another...but,those of yours are so cute we might become friendly....the last set are a little different but they look rather elderly with their very own uniqueness...maybe,just add a bit of color with a little scarf or something and see how that looks :)

Hi Diane! I have to agree with Shelley that liking mice isn't something I've ever thought, but Your mice are adorable! I especially like the gray one with the red scarf. Have a wonderful weekend! Twyla

Love all your mice. If the two Knickerbockers are mice it might be that their hair is too fluffy looking. They are cute though especially the little glasses.

I love YOUR little mice. I would not change the others being as they are collectibles.
I do agree the eyelids are a little offputting though.

Oh I think that is such a wonderful 'dilemma' to have! and yes..if this is your only issue woman, then you are doing great! lol

I think they are adorable...they're quirky and unique I've never seen the likes of them! and that's a good thing!

the only thing I might venture to do...is make little crochet hats for them..that would look so cute! and maybe put a longer crochet skirt on the little lady!

have a great day...

Oh Diane, I love mice, too! And I mean I REALLY love mice...I had a pet mouse named Meshach (as in Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego) and I called him Meesha for short! Your little mice are all so cute..even the ones you don't like. Perhaps it is the eyelids that you don't like the look of? I'm afraid that if you alter them, though, it will ruin their value as a collectible. But if you don't care about that, then that might fix it!

XOXO,

Cyndi

They're so cute, Diane. I'd just line them all up on a shelf and admire them and let them keep me company.

I love the mice! I didn't like the mouse in my kitchen the other night but I do like these mice.

I used to raise mice...and rats.
And I love your original mice as well as the little guy near the phone.

Mice really do have eyelids, but we usually don't see them except when they blink. I actually like the Knickerbocker mice with the curly fur, but something about them looks like bears.

Can you live with the idea that just as we are not genetically the same, your mice are not either? Can you think of them as a lesson in diversity or creative license?

Enjoy your day.

I am a big fan of the little mice in the first two pictures! They really are adorable and I can see why you like them sitting out on your desk!
