One last burst of color…

as Fall fades! (view from our balcony)

DSCN8336

We saw the most beautiful Mums at the

North Carolina Arboretum last week.

Mums-1

But the colors of the trees are fading and after the wind we had yesterday many have fallen!

Lovely pictures (as always). I'm noticing that many of our leaves are gone now too. It wont' be long and we'll be need snow shovels. Eek!

I was enjoying the fall leaves as we drove to lunch today! We had guests to church and the nearest restaurant is about 30 minutes away! Good thing it was on their way! The leaves are brilliant right now - soon we'll see the beautiful structure of these trees and all that they hid throughout the warmer months! Hope you have a marvelous week,
Kathy

Our trees have survived so many storms this summer into fall that the leaves have not had a chance to turn too many colors as yet..they may fall off before they do! I loved the mum in your mosaic..they were so colorful and full!

The Autumn colors leave too fast. The mums are amazing! Happy Monday!

Wow those mums are gorgeous! And the fall leaves. Here in the piedmont I'd say the color is at it's peak. I will have to visit the Arboretum sometime!

Autumn is so beautiful, but also so short.
Your images are lovely, especially the last, which really says it all.
Have a wonderful week, dear friend.

You are so lucky to live in a place where the leaves change. Here in Southern California the only thing that changes seems to be the celebrities husbands (I am referring to Kim Kardashian-LOL).

Thanks doll,

It's very lovely to see the last burst of autumn. We are getting too much rain, and the colors are doomed!

What a beautiful view!!! It is always so sad to see the leaves go . . . guess we have to hunker down, endure the winter and dream of spring now!

What beautiful photos!

Thank you for your VERY KIND words on my blog. Today we did get our internet + t.v. service back. So very thankful we all are o.k. Western MA + CT is recovering from the nor'easter, slowly. Crews came up from FL to start removing tree debris along our tree belts. Gigantic trucks with large claws. So many people from everywhere helping.

Wow those mums are beautiful! I don't think I have seen that color here, mostly they are golds, brown, reds. The leaves here are almost gone now too, maybe a few trees still trying to hold on. :)
Enjoy your day!
