Your hubby's shirt is perfect for a Florida Christmas! It made an awesome mosaic, too! Very creative Diane ;)

I don't have a favorite Christmas sweater or shirt, but I do have a favorite burgundy velvet skirt that I wear during the holidays.

Hope you have had a great weekend!

I think of Santa in swimming trunks with sand in his beard.

Don't you miss the snow?

Hi Miss Lavender Dreams,

Your Mr.'s shirt is very nice. I like the lighthouse in the background too.

Yes, I have a very favorite Christmas sweater, I have it everyday and when we went to the fabric store Mom took my picture wearing it.

My friend in Germany, Henry, sent me a prezzie this morning - it's an ornament with my picture inside. He and his Mistress made it for me.

Perfect, and he looks so proud to be wearing it. Imagine the looks he'd get if he wore the tie with it:-) Love the mosaic, the prints look so much like vintage postcards.

Great Christmas shirt for Florida!

Clever! Maybe you'll get some cooler weather this Christmas--or a flurry or two? But still it's FL! You should come back to NC for a little Christmas cheer!

Now that's a fun shirt! We went to Florida for Christmas once years ago and it was so cold that year, the power was on and off for an hour at a time. We tried to cook our turkey and huddled under blankets because we didn't bring coats. Definitely a Christmas to remember.

When I think of Florida - I think of home. After traveling many years as a military wife and living in some great places - I still wanted to come back to Florida. It's true, living in Florida is Heaven on earth.

Boy, I would love to have a few yards of that fabulous fabric! Your hubby is dressed perfectly for our Florida Christmas, hasn't the weather been gorgeous?!

Hmm…a favorite Christmas sweater or shirt? I'll have to go with the t-shirt I bought a few years ago at Bealls — it's has three flamingos sporting their Santa hats, it's way to hot this year for a sweater, lol.

If you can believe it, I don't own a single funny holiday sweater. I think this is something that needs immediate remedying too. That Grinch tie is a hoot! One of my favourite Christmas animations.

Too cute, Diane! And kudos to your hubby for being a good sport and playing along.

Nope, I don't have a favorite Christmas shirt or sweater; I've never been one who "dressed" for a holiday event. In fact, I've always considered myself doing well just to get there on time! LOL

Hugs,
Pam

When I had my place in Florida, it never seemed quite Christmas yet until my friend Bessie and I headed to the Red Barn Flea Market in Bradenton for Christmas sweatshirts and a new pair of flip flops. I used to go outside and pick lemons to make lemon meringue pie to take to me friend's house in Venice for Christmas dinner. And after dinner we would pile in the cars and drive around to look at all the light displays and then walk barefoot on Venice Beach. The first year after I met my new DH and had to stay in Canada for Christmas I was so homesick for Florida that I cried. I still get homesick, but we have enough new Christmas traditions that I no longer cry about it. I still have faint hope that when we retire I can talk him out of going to Arizona in favour of Florida. We shall see...
