We love to eat! We love to buy fresh ingredients and get in the kitchen together and cook! And I am so glad my hubby loves to grill!
What’s on the menu tonight?
Beef Ribs....OH MY!
Hubby marinates them for at least an hour. He has even agreed to share his secret marinade recipe. Of course, he says he adds to it....so there may be a secret ingredient he’s guarding! heehee!
He does not put the BBQ sauce on the ribs while they are grilling. We ‘dip’ our ribs in sauce on our plates.
I’m joining Shannon at Cozy Home Scenes. Hope you’ll check out some of the other party goers for more great summertime meal ideas!
Which do you prefer....Beef ribs or Pork?
Beef ribs are my FAV!

Oh yummy! I love that your hubs likes to cook too. So does mine when he has a day off and wants to get creative. Men can be the best cooks for sure. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
They look delicious! Thank your husband for sharing his recipe. I just may try it this weekend! Thanks!!
Do they ever look good! And your husband's marinade sounds wonderful. I like both...a lot.
That looks yummy! Thanks for sharing the secret recipe :-)
Mmmm. That's perfect on a summer day. :)
We love pork ribs! Every now and then, hubby will break out the smoker and smoke up a batch. We especially like the dry rub on them, but we also add barbecue sauce at the table! mmmm, good eating!
Those look delicious! Thanks to your hubby for sharing the marinade recipe. :-)
Hi Diane, yummy......looks so delicious. My hubby loves to grill, also.
Happy weekend,
Barb
Grilling is so great! Love that your hubby is a good cook!
I agree with everyone, they look so good, I like either , you made me hungry, ha ha
OH my and I have been trying to be so good with my diet. This just may make me break it for a day. lol
Delicious I bet.
Love
Maggie
Pineapple please, pineapple. lol
Diane, beef and I are not friends. At a bbq, I am known to toast a bun and put all the fixings but not the patty. Does that make me odd? hahaha.
Hi Diane, Well now I am hungry. The ribs look so yummy. My guy loves to grill too. Thank you for sharing the recipe.
Thank you also for stopping and your thoughts for our loss with Miss B. We miss her terribly.
Loved catching up with your posts. Have a great weekend.
Hugs, CMD
BBQ food is my favorite too and I grill when hubby doesn't want too although hubby does make the greatest pork ribs (roasted in oven before bbqing to reduce fat content) with his grape jelly and heinz chili sauce method
I love anything that can be bbq'd! The marinade sounds good and I just jotted the recipe down...thanks for sharing! We'll be trying it out. Now I'm hungry...lunch time!
I'm gonna try your marinade. I love ribs - either kind, pork or beef. Yum!
Oh I love ribs! Yours looks just delicious!!!! :D
Hugs,
AHHH! I see the secret...and I have known it...VINEGAR!! I do not eat beef or pork, but when I marinate my chicken in olive oil and vinegar with some other herbs OVERNIGHT....OH GOSH, the result is a melt-in-your-mouth bird that takes your breath away!! I am now hungry!! THANK YOU DEAREST FOR VISITING! I bet you liked that photo of the lavender?
HAVE FUN!!!! Anita
Thank your husband for sharing his recipe. Those ribs look mouthwaterng, so I know his marinade must be a good one to try! Looks like you've been eating well this week, my friend! Maybe you should grill every night to give yourself a vacation and let your husband do the work. Thanks for joining my party again!
Oh my Lord! Mr. Precious would be all over these - ribs are his favorite. Yummy! Hope your weekend is going well.
be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Ooooh!! I must try these!! Oh yes, beef ribs are amazing..I remember the special ones my grandfather used to prepare..amazing! I hope you have a wonderful summer coming up. thank you so much for your kind visit recently! It's great to catch up!!
I love both! I will be trying your hubby's marinade the next time I do ribs. I usually sauce mine on the grill, and it makes such a mess. Next time I will try your way and put some sauce down for dipping. YUM!
You're killing me. Oh well, it's a good way to go. ;) Gotta go, calling my husband to stop by Publix before he gets home. See what you do? ;)
Enjoy your Sunday.
Sounds like dh ribs would be perfect entry for Memphis Bar-B Cue festival. In May the festival is the granddaddy of swine and draws people from all over from the novice to the professional. I love both and depends on which restaurant I visit. Don't do much grilling since we have so many good places to buy.
