I found one!
I bought two of these houses last December at the Thrift Store.
Most of you remember the Firehouse (Vee helped me decide that’s what it must be!)
and then last week I found a few more.
I’m not sure what I should do with them.
Do they look good on these shelves? Should I glue seashells to the roofs?
This one didn’t have a proper roof!
(some of them are fixer uppers! heehee!)
I’m just not sure what to do with them but they are handmade and I have a weakness for anything handmade! Any ideas?

I think they found their home right there on the shelves! They are wonderful...look so homey! :)

You know I love flipping little houses, but they are darling just the way they are. I tend to decorate little houses seasonally. I have bunch of putz houses I'm flipping for an Easter village.
I love the fact that they're hand made. What a find, Diane! I'd leave them just as they are, not add shells to them. I like them sitting on the shelves with the books. :-)

I like the houses! They look good on the shelf :) Maybe you can find bigger shelf and make a miniature town with miniature people and other tiny things. It's always interesting to look at such mini towns. And then you could decorate your mini town for every holiday - like Christmas and Halloween. That's what I would do if I had few houses like that :)
I'm into little! Love the houses and displaying them on your shelf looks proper to me. However, the "giant" seashell, although practical for roof repair, just seems a little misplaced, tee hee! But there's no reason you couldn't set up a Beach Town, XOXO

I've always loved little handmade houses. The book shelves are a nice place to display your wonderful collection. Perhaps re-roofing with something closer to the original material would work better than the shell. ;0)

They look so lovely. How about making a street scene on a piece of MDF where you can then make gardens for them too? Christmas scenes, easter scenes, etc etc. Chel x

I don't know what to do with your village buildings. A seashell roof ain't gonna do it, though. I mean, really, have you ever seen a seashell roof?
I only see seashells on the shore by the sea where shells show up seasonably!
I think they'd look nice with a low 4-watt bulb in them for a nightlight. Very sweet find.

Those houses remind me of the ones I made during our craft in school. It was so interesting and exciting :-)

what darling houses! You've got a little village started. Now you need to create a little town. Love the old truck too. Add some small dolls, trees, decorate for Holidays etc. It's just right up your alley!
