I believe it can.
When I take photos, I tend to want a good view of my subject. So when this car drove into our neighborhood, I wanted a photo of it.
So I snapped a couple.
But when it turned in front of me, I took one before I realized I was zoomed in too much.
So what did I get?
A photo of perfect simplicity…I think!
I am trying to say that I don’t think the first two are anything special, just what I saw…a neat looking car, one you don’t see very often. But the zoomed in photo…taken by accident really takes you by surprise. It has movement and creates interest. What do you think?
I used a little Canon S 100 and these photos are not touched up but straight out of the camera. I put a bit of a frame around the zoomed photo in IPICCY.

I love old cars. My husband and I go to all different kinds of car show.
I hope you have a wonderful and blessed day.
Hugs my friend,

Hello,
Love old cars as well. The photo of the car in motion is awesome!
Are you going to use it in a composition?
Gabriela
Love the motion picture. It makes me anxious for our Route 66 tour out west this summer.
Great job on your "accidental" photo! Very artsy with the lines, bold yellow color, and movement! Even the twin double lines on the pavement wants to play in the photo too.
And thank you for showing the other two photos because it shows that you kept narrowing down on your subject, which is a positive lesson for photographers. Don't ever settle for the first shot. Take some more from different angles and zoom levels.
I have not idea not to set my new Olympus camera yet. I am just lucky if I get a good one. I like you last shot, a fine example.

Oh I think you're right! That accidental shot is the more interesting one. What a great car that is!
GREAT motion shot! :)
I agree, love the action shot!
They just don't make cars like they used to :):) I love your pictures. Your new header is wonderful. Have a great weekend. xoxo,Susie
Diane, I love that final shot - it's the one we always 'try' to get but it doesn't pan out............motion and color together. The road markings and color around the wheel certainly add unexpected extras.
You caught it perfectly.........simplicity yes!
Hope all is well - are you still in Florida?
Very hot here in NC this past week and the pollen is bad!
Hugs - Mary (A Breath of Fresh Air)
That is a fun old car and yes the movement shot is great. It is the perfect color car for Florida too.
Oh, my! That last snaps looks like you're about to have an accident! Whew! No, it's a neat snap and I love that little old car.
Have a nice weekend,
Shelia ;)
When I saw the yellow and white car I thought that Tammy of Tammy's in Love was in your neighborhood...lol! I wonder what kind of car it was...I can never see old cars without feeling happy!
Diane, those are fun shots! I remember seeing an old car like that when I was younger. I love the yellow and white as it stands out on the roadway. Pamela
Neat old car!!
I could title the last photo, Zoom. Great subject matter.
I love that little car. The zoomed in shot is perfect!!
What a fun accident!
I agree...accidental photos can be the best:-D Have a lovely weekend; I just got home from North Carolina and it was beautiful! XOXO

I agree :)
Love xxx
I think that is sometimes the joy of photography is the 'surprise' shot you didn't realize you would get! Love it!
hugs, Linda
The blurred photo really captures the idea of motion. I think pairing the last photo with one of the other two gives a sort of photo essay approach - a big picture look and then the motion one. Fun!
Hi Diane
The last shot is a good one that defines simplicity. Now I would have deleted it from habit because it was blurry but see that there is merit in photos that are not in perfect focus.

That little car is a Nash Metropolitan. My grandmother drove a 1957 Nash Metropolitan 4 cylinder, 3 speed, it was turquoise andwhite. I always thought it looked like a little bug! So cute!!
Great photos!
The yellow oldies car is just way to cute... I have never seen one like it. You certainly did get a close up and Yes I think it was very very neat. Hugs Judy
unplanned magic!
Such a bright yellow! These old cars are so classic.
i agree, the last one is definitely more interesting. Ha!
Diane, I agree with everyone else. That would be great printed big with a black frame. Awesome! What a happy accident! So fun!
All of your photos are beautiful! What a gift!
Love,
Heather
Gosh my jaw dropped when I saw that picture!!! You should enter in SOME kind of contest! Love, love, love your new header and you'll appreciate my utter dismay to wake up today to find it snowing. Yes, snowing. Ugg.
What a fun photo.
Some of the best photos are accidents. Love this!
AMAZING!!! love the movement!
When I was in my early twenties a friend had a car just like that only it was aqua and white!
Diane, I think you had a quiet chat with your camera before you took that last shot!!!!
Shane ♥
I agree Diane, love the feeling of movement in your unexpected shot!
I always love those surprise photos, although the ones I accidentally take of my leg are not so great. I love yours. xo Laura
lovely old car, the movement is great
Love the old car.
I always see things I would like to get a photo of, but we are past it by the time I could get my camera out.
