I hope this doesn’t sound too ‘fishy’…

or mushy!

But I DO love all of my sweet blog buddies!

IPBest-001

And I love living in Florida!

These were taken at Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park.

This is not one of my best photos but it gives you an idea of where we were to take these photos.

DianeIMG_2132

We walked down steps and viewed them through the glass.

They were swimming in the Spring headwaters.

That's a great picture of you! Amazing how the fish swam in the shape of a heart.

Never too fishy or mushy sharing your heart. :) I love my blog buddies too...esp YOU, my apron sis and Floridian neighbor. ;)
I've been spending a lot of time in our pool. Enjoying the weather, but remembering that the rain and thunderstorm season is quickly approaching. Eeekk... don't like those.
Have a great Sunday.

Such a fun place to visit. My in-laws have a cabin on the Homosassa River about 3 miles downstream from the park.It is a great place to boat, snorkel, & swim. The water is crystal clear & spring-fed cold.

Good Afternoon Diane, Oh how exciting, but I have to say, I would rather be inside looking out!

I visited Amelia Island, Florida about 2 1/2 years ago and I loved it. We took my mum Phyllis for her 80th birthday when my daughter lived in Atlanta. I think mum would have upsticks and moved (even at her age)if she could as she loved it so much.
Have a lovely Sunday.
Best Wishes
Daphne

Hi there namemate! You are so blessed and lucky to reach those beautiful places. I love the last picture, to some extent I think the school of fishes tend to form a heart shaped figure. Magical!

I believe I see some SNOOK in one of those pictures! - - - they are the fish with the bold lateral line on their sides.

Once when FH and I were snorkeling in Haiti (my first snorkeling experience) I saw a school of fish similar to those you've pictured, only without my glasses on, I thought it was ONE GINORMOUS FISH and nearly tore FH's arm off in my panic.

Needless to say, he has NEVER let me forget my foolishness.

The Monterey Bay Aquarium in Monterey, California lets you see the sealife in their natural environment also. It is amazing to watch.
