I have made so many wonderful blog friends
and I keep getting surprised with….
SURPRISES!
Jill at A Little Bit of Everything sent me some goodies this week!
She knows I love lace hankies so she sent me these two beautiful handkerchiefs (that are special treasures to her and now to me, too) a sweet note and even a postcard of Green Gables. I’m getting so spoiled with surprises in the mail! It sure makes me feel special! Thanks Jill!
I will treasure them!
And I finally sat down with my Smash Journal and completed two pages (and started 2 more).
I love working in my journal and I need to finish the last few pages of this one and start a new one. My blog buddy, Diane from Lydia’s post told me about a sale on Smash books at Amazon so I ordered a new one to work on next! You might check and see if they are still on sale! They have such cute pages that give you a head start on your journaling!
I sure make a mess when I work!

Lovely hankies :) Blogging has become a special place to make true friends with kindred spirits.Some of these ladies are more like Me than My own sisters.I have never heard of those journals but You know I will now jump on over to find out about them. I have never made a smash book...but I want to now having seen yours!
I'm not familiar with smash books but they look like fun. If you saw my latest post you know that I love to scrapbook and this is similar I think. I have recently started following you and look forward to seeing more of your work.

I am so with you here, lovely lady. I am a handkerchief collector too and yours are so pretty. I especially love the lacy ones. I like to think about the olden days when people actually used them in their daily life. Also, I love SMASH books! Have you tried making your own? They are so much fun! You can put any kind of pages you like in them!! and envelopes too! You are such a great blog friend and your community loves you!! Me too!
Oh you have some beautiful treasures there. Are you keeping them as is or working them into a creation? Smash books! I love that concept.

Such sweet gifts and I so love your Smash Journal! I am trying to get my craft area organized so I can do some fun stuff this Fall!! I 'lost' my Smash Journal in my move and just found it yesterday...Yay!

I love receiving nice things in the post rather than just the boring bills! I love your journal too. I've seen more and more people do these and I am thinking of doing the same, but I am looking for a large amount of pages to a journal, may have to be an Ebay job! Have a great week. xx

I didn't know you like journals. I also love them, but it's been awhile since I've written in mine.
