We went to the BEST Fall Festival of the season yesterday and when I sort through my photos, I’ll share all of the fun. Did anyone else get to go to McIntosh this weekend?
It was the most beautiful day with fabulous weather in the high 80s!
And then on our way home, it started raining a gentle rain and the temps went down into the 70s.
We saw so many wonderful sights on the way home and one of them was worth turning around to take photos. The photos didn’t turn out great but the experience was exciting.
We spotted a Bald Eagle in the woods and while we were watching it, another one flew in.
How awesome to see two magnificent eagles on a weekend drive.
I’m joining Beautiful Sunday,
and Amaze me Monday!
I’ll share more Festival photos during the week.
Have you had a good weekend so far?

I love fall festivals. Glad you had a nice day. That is amazing that you saw and photographed the eagles. We had a gentle rain yesterday and it is much cooler and sunny today.

I love the moss hanging on the trees, so romantic and mysterious all at the same time. Sounds like you had a great day.
The only cool thing we have around here are bald eagles. Depending on the time of year, I might see a couple a week.
What a treat to spot those bald eagles!
I love these sort of festivals. So much to see and do.. and buy. The eagles were a great capture.

What fun and what great pics you got! I love that yellow house in the first picture. And I love horses and eagles etc. Sounds like a great time! I look forward to seeing more this week! I'm having a great weekend too...it's beautiful here too.
I love Mcintosh! We have friends near there. I have never been to a festival there, looks like it was a lot of fun!The weather is beautiful but I am ready for some cooler temperatures!
Wow, that looks like fun. Can't beat weather in the 80's this time of year.

Diane, you had a fun weekend! I love your photos and the festival looks wonderful. I hope you have a great week ahead. Hugs, Pam
Nooooo! I didn't go! We are not aware of all the better festivals yet in the area. I better keep my eyes open for Bald Eagles!!!
Fall festivals are fun, but it seems to me that cooler temps would be even better, but of course the 80s may be considered cooler weather for you now. My favorite temps are 60s in fall when sweatshirts and long sleeves make being outside great. Looks like you had a great time with lots of other folks enjoying the weather and festivities too. Fun to see the Halloween themed items next to the snowmen which might not like the temps...just saying.
Sounds and looks like an enjoyable day! Thanks for sharing it with us. Great shots in the mosaic - pretty!!
I bet it was exciting seeing the eagles!
Have a great week.
Oh how exciting to see the bald eagles!!
I would be in total AWE viewing bald eagles...I love your horse country pics too : ) What a nice trip /and post about it :)

Fall festivals are the best! Sounds like a lovely day with unexpected sitings. I don't think I've ever seen a live bald eagle.

Lovely weekend. We had great weather for October and spent lots of time with dear friends. I even got a quick walk through a street fair. It had lots of temptations, but happily I resisted. Have a great week!
What a lovely weekend you had! The title of your post should have been my own! We celebrated our northern fall foliage this weekend. The colors were amazing.
I'm sure the change in weather was welcome. I'm sure it was a great time. I'm curious about your new header, and where the baskets are from. They are similar to quite a few I've been seeing lately in outdoor markets.
I just love fall festivals! It's so much fun to see everybody out having a good time.
It must have been thrilling to see not one, but two bald eagles!
Hi namemate! I would love to join the Fall Festival. The place indeed looks festive, perfect weather and everyone looks so happy.
I would also love to join your very refreshing and relaxing road trip. The view is something I would never see in the city.
Have a great week! Thank you for forever linking up.
You're always welcome at Seasonal Sundays.

For me this looks like a summer festival! :) Here in Finland it's getting colder and trees are almost naked. One ski resort opened in Northern Finland. brrrrr.
Have a good week ahead!

Super trip...beautiful scenery and crafts.. And a pair of eagles,...perfect day. Can't wait to get to fl!
Gosh it's been ages since I've been to a festival. How nice. The eagles are wonderful and I love to catch sight of them too. We have them in the area now too. They've all come down from the north, from breeding, for the salmon runs.
What fun! And to see an eagle and be able to sit under that gorgeous canopy of trees...so nice!
Thank you of sharing at AMAZE ME MONDAY!
Blessings,
Cindy
