Spring at the Biltmore Estate

We’re not there right now. We usually make a trip to NC in the Spring but our schedule is a little different this year. (and every year! lol)

Biltmoreside

I wanted to use the Waterlogue app (for IPADS) on some of my Spring photos and came across these.

Biltmore Estate is a beautiful place to visit any time of year but never more beautiful than Spring when the tulips are in bloom.

The photo I chose is of the side of the house with the wisteria in full bloom.

Biltmore reminds me a bit of the castles in the Loire Valley in France - only those are a little bit older. Beautiful pictures!

These are beautiful pictures!! I love the waterlogue app too. Have you tried the Glaze app? I think it was made by the same people who made waterlogue. It's pretty neat too. I would love to see the Biltmore Estate one day...especially when the tulips are in bloom. :)

Lovely watercolors! For some reason I get anxious when I see huge estates like this. I think I'm the one who would have to clean it, and even if I were convinced there'd be plenty of help, I'd worry about running out of money!
I've never been to this one, but the Eastman Kodak house in Rochester NY is a beauty too.

So pretty. I've not been to Biltmore in the spring, but I definitely need to add it to my list of places to visit. That list gets longer by the day. Wishes for a bright and blessed week.

Diane, these waterlogued images are simply stunning! At our tea party, Jenn showed us her waterlogue app, and we were all so impressed with this instant artistry of the tea and treats on our table!

Love your mosaic of the actual landscape, too!

Have a wonderful week, my friend!

Poppy

Hi there name mate! Thank you for forever linking up :)

You are really enjoying your water-colour app :) I actually like the few photos you have been producing. I wouldn't thought that it came from a real photo if I wasn't told.

Spring is indeed a beautiful season to anywhere in the world. The blooms and colours are inspiring and heartwarming.

Wishing you a great week ahead name mate :)

When I lived in GA, I heard about this wonderful place but never made it to see for myself. Thanks for your great photos. Your edits are quite interesting, too.
