Sharing some of the photos I’ve taken in the mountains of Western North Carolina.
Hendersonville and Asheville, NC
A beautiful part of the country to visit in the Spring.
Enjoy a blessed week!
My box lid…
I’m joining Vee at a Haven for Vee

I hope you’ll join the party for the fun, too!
We got up during the night for the lunar eclipse. Thanks hubby for this amazing photo! (and thanks Vee for not counting this extra photo! lol)

I should have stayed up last night and watched. I couldn't sleep. I love Biltmore Estates. I've been there twice. Hope you are having a great week. :)
Beautiful pictures. PS. Josie was talking about a blood moon this morning. Now, I understand.
Oh it's not here ..I so much wanted to see it..will check over the news :)
Big hugs x
Great photos, Diane - love the one of the moon :)
Have a spectacular day! Hugs
Beautiful photos and the eclipse must have been fun to watch.
Diane, I got up and found snow instead of the moon...oooowww. That is a good photo of the eclipse. Love the statues too.:) xoxo,Susie
really nice set of photos!
How amazing to get that pic! I have read all about the 4 blood moons. Interesting times.
Blessings,
Amy Jo
Congrats on your shot of the full lunar eclipse!! Great shot!!
We're under clouds so we missed it!! Poured rain last night - got an inch and half!!
Your spring note cards of Asheville and Hendersonville are lovely. What a great shot of the moon. We had rainy cloudy skies here in Hendersonville last night, so no moon shots :-(
Wonderful pictures. That is a beautiful part of the country! We could not see the lunar eclipse at all here. We had heavy clouds and snow cover. xo Diana
Very pretty, Diane! I stayed up to see the moon, but couldn't get a decent shot of it. It was beautiful!
It's good to be back from blog break and see my blog friends again. Can't believe it's already time for the party! Love your cards, the sky looks so blue!
Nice note cards, Diane! Love the mosaic too. Have a lovely Tuesday!
You have some beautiful statuary images - they would make really lovely note cards.
It was cloudy here so that's my excuse for not seeing the lunar eclipse, although I likely would not have gotten up to see it anyway. Nice image your husband caught.
Like your NC pics--a nice themed set of cards, and the moon is amazing. And look at that Carolina blue sky! Ours was missing in action as we had a bad rain most of the night.
Those are beautiful statues. And what a great shot of the full blood moon!
Just beautiful and with the statues in each card...outstanding.
Have a great week.
Beautiful photos! Love the photo of the Full Lunar Eclipse!!
hugs,
Cindy
Wonderful note cards and what a fabulous shot of the blood moon!
Love love love these...
Don't know about anyone else, but that last shot has me saying "woo-hoo!!!":@)
I agree, Diane, Hendersonville and Asheville are wonderful spots. I love your note cards and your photo of the eclipse!
Beautiful images of NC and lovely cards! That pink dogwood is beautiful...one of my faves! I was looking for the moon last night but it was rainy and nothing to see except yuck :( Hope you are having a good week!
I am not talented enough to make note cards and I miss the lunar blood moon! Oh Diane! I am a loser!! Beautiful photo's!
Sending you a big hug!!
You're very trusting, aren't you?! LOL! That is a great view of The Blood Moon. And that final card makes quite a statement, doesn't it?! Yes, I would definitely take a second look.
Love your beautiful photos. Also love the moon picture.
Lovely notecards you have shared, I missed the lunar eclipse last night, it is so lovely too! Thank you for sharing.
Sue
How did I miss the eclipse??? The one night I didn't watch the news because I had a phone call and I even went out and took pictures of the moon earlier in the evening because I thought it was pretty and I was up at 3:00 a.m. ...I could kick myself! There's one in November but it will probably be cloudy that night knowing my luck! LOL!
I love your photos from NC. I visited there in the Fall and it was gorgeous!
Stunning statues on your note cards and I love the angel. Us Lavender gals do think alike! :-)
Happy Easter Diane
Oh, what lovely gardens!
Our skies were very overcast here, so no viewing at 2am. Beautiful lunar eclipse shot!
And I love your monkey post previous to this one...
Great photo, tell hubby!
Hugs,
Terrific photos! Enjoyed the statues, and I really like your box lid. And the moon is gorgeous. I missed it.
An elegant collection of note cards!
I considered getting up to see the blood moon, but I went to bed too late and decided not to set my alarm. I think there's another eclipse in October...
Your photo is beautiful!
Beautiful photos, Diane, and I love the one of the eclipse! We had thunderstorms all night here so I missed it. Thanks for sharing.
Hope you have a wonderful Easter,
Dorothy
Lovely photos Diane- love all those blue skies! Great eclipse shot too- too cloudy here to see it...
3:30 am, I don't know if you are a night owl or early riser!!! I'm a night owl and saw it...Amazing, so are your gorgeous Asheville NC
Carol
WOW those blue skies are absolutely amazing! And we had complete snow clouds covering the moon last night so...:-(
Of course tonight is crystal clear and that moon is as bright as ever!
What a difference a day makes.
Happy card day!!
Beautiful pictures and thanks for sharing. Also thanks for letting me know about the extra letter in my address. It's fixed now!
Beautiful! I don't think there is a spot in NC that isn't pretty (at least I haven't found one yet). Great Moon!
Great cards Diane, especially love the guy at the Biltmore looking over his shoulder at the pink dogwood in full bloom!
I always enjoy searching through old cemeteries and discovering beautiful angels - I've seen these also…….in the one where Thomas Wolfe is buried I believe.
Happy Spring - although with the drop to 30 last night it doesn't feel like it this morning! Hopefully the azaleas and other flowering shrubs are safe - cold again tonight though!
Hugs - Mary
Such beautiful photographs and they would make such lovely note cards. Thank you for stopping by my blog and for your very kind words.
I am so ferhoodled these days that I forgot we were supposed to have an eclipse. I love that shot of yours and am glad you included it.
As for the rest of them? I love the theme of the statues, and the blue skies are just beautiful. Wonderful cards!
Very nice!
I was not brave enough to get up to check the moon but in the morning we had snow so probably was cloudy anyway. Your shot is great. Beautiful note cards too. Love NC.
Have a good week-end.
Lovely notecards, the statues are so interesting.
Smiles,
Carol
I was hoping to see some lunar eclipse photos when I checked my bloglist today. Thank you (from one too lazy to set an alarm). I love your notecards as always.
Oh, look at these amazing statues! I have always loved old and historic statues, so they caught my eye right away. The picture of the moon that your husband took is wonderful. I love moon pictures myself, but never get a chance to take them cause I go to bed too early haha.
love,
~Sheri
Just beautiful! I really enjoyed this post.
