And I love these precious little egg cups.
I know I have a few more packed in my Spring box but this is what I have handy.
It’s not really a vignette yet but it sure looks like the beginning of a ‘collection’.
And I love brown eggs best so I found one with a few speckles to ‘pose’ in my egg cups.
Don’t you love finding something unusual?
A piggie egg cup? I love it!

Do you prefer white eggs or brown?

We ;used to always have brown eggs on the farm when I was gathering them, and then they really tasted better than they do now. I buy white eggs now, as there aren't too many brown ones available in the stores.. EggLand.
aww so sweet..i love them too.
hugs x
Oh what a cute little piggie egg cup!
White eggs are really hard to find over here so I only use brown from my parents free range hens.
Have a cracking day! Lol!
The bunny one is adorable.
I love egg cups too...last year I displayed little jelly beans in them but this year they are holding ceramic eggs. As for the color of eggs, for baking I like brown for some reason...no rationale, I just like them.
Morning, Love the wee cute egg cups, adorable. I love either, yummy.Irish Blessings Francine.
Sweet little egg cups! I normally just get white eggs but there is just something about the brown ones that says "country" and "better"...even though we are told there really is no difference :)
Oh the egg cups are so darling - love that piggy one I don't have a preference for egg color, but I do like a good egg for breakfast now and then - and an egg sandwich is a nice treat - bread, butter, flattened fried egg - yummmma. Maybe I'll have that for lunch today.
Hi Diane,
When I was young, there was a commercial jingle on tv and it went like this: "Brown eggs are local eggs and local eggs are fresh!" The tune is forever etched in my brain! I buy brown eggs of course!

Claudia at MockingbirdHill Cottage also collects egg cups. She has some interesting ones also.
I really never though of the color of the egg. There are so many colors out there. Funny how different chickens lay different colored eggs.
Love your egg cups.
Definitely a cute collection! I have loads of them and have actually never ever used them for their real purpose. I suppose I should try them out with the girls sometime!
Those little egg cups are so cute! It does look like a lovely start for a collection!! ;) Love brown eggs, we get them freshly from my grandma's chickens. Have a great day!! xo Holly
Ha, ha, very cool pig egg cup! I've always been partial to egg cups, they're just so cute and perfect for spring-enjoy:@)
Sweet egg cups! I have a pair of chicken ones. I should set them out for Easter. I prefer white eggs I guess. :)
Love your sweet egg cups. They are so cute. A friend has chickens and shares wonderful tan brown and greenish eggs. All yummy!
Those egg cups are so cute! It's neat how many different styles there are. Keep on collecting!
I love your egg cups but I don't like eggs, unless they are chocolate! So roll on Easter, haha.
Diana
Wonderful egg cup collection Diane! And I like brown eggs best, although they say there is no difference between the two. Guess I just like the colour better LOL!
Your egg cups are so cute. I love eggs whether brown or white.
These are so darn cute! How do they come up with these design ideas? Thanks so much Diane for sharing your sweet egg cups at Vintage Inspiration Party.
What a fun collection of egg cups. Wonder how that pig feels?
Oh my, the pig cup is darling! Thanks for sharing your fun egg cup collection with Roses of Inspiration, sweet friend. Hugs!
So cute! Brown eggs for me as well.

These little egg cups are so cute, especially the lady hehehe. I prefer brown eggs because they seem more natural.
I love how you have collections of things, Diane. They're always a delight to see.

I love your egg cups - so cute
I like brown eggs best; I know they aren't any 'better' for me than white, but we had chickens that laid brown ones when as I was growing up, so they taste of childhood to me!
oh those egg holders are so adorable!!! Your post makes us want to go out and find some at the antique mall now though lol! I adore having brown eggs in my refrigerator....I really love it when I get them from a neighbor and have lovely blue and turquoise ones mixed it though!!!!
I buy organic and they always are brown...the ones I get anyway. I just want fresh and for the chickens to be happy and humanely raised and treated. I just read and saw a terrible situation with Purdue chickens....just awful how they treat them....no wonder they make us sick! The poor chickens are so sick.
