Horse Country for ‘Good Fences’

We took a nice drive through horse country and I was snapping photos as fast as I could.

(and NO, I wasn’t driving this time! lol)

One of the sweetest sight was a baby horse romping with her Mama but I didn’t get a photo quick enough.

Right now many of the horses from Northern states and Canada are being boarded here in Florida so all of the horse farms have dozens of beautiful horses.

My sweet hubby saw this gate and turned in for me to get the photos.

I knew Tex would love it!

I even used if for my new banner …

just in case you think you’re seeing double!

I’m joining Tex for the

Good Fences party!

Hi Diane, I love your photos!! It's good to know you're not snapping and driving. ;-D Goodness knows, seems like everyone else is doing something while they're driving -- mostly texting.

I love to see horse farms, but haven't seen many. I have that on my list though. I noticed the pretty Spanish moss hanging from the trees. We just returned from the N.C. coast, and saw some lovely Spanish moss there.

Love the gate you took a picture of, and it looks perfect in your new header! Have a wonderful day!

Hugs,

Denise at Forest Manor

Gorgeous photos- I always watch for chances to get photos of horses. I had no idea horses were moved to Florida for the winter - very interesting. Now, back to our regularly scheduled sewing.

I didn't know that horses could be snowbirds, too! Now that's pretty cool. And I love the gate!

The northern horses are so lucky to escape the cold winter and all that snow. Great gate, just as good as those in Texas!

What an interesting gate, and how nice of your husband to turn in for you to get a picture. The things our husbands do for us so that we can get the perfect picture haha. These horses are delightful, Diane. I especially love white ones.

That is a neat gate and looks good as your header picture. I love the manicured lawns/grass, not at all like our New Zealand paddocks.
