When we moved to Florida 10 years ago, we called this room the lanai. It’s not a ‘true lanai’ because it’s heated and cooled just like the rest of the house. It would more properly be called a Florida room.
It’s where we spend most of our time.
And I always keep ‘pretties’ on this baker’s rack.
I haven’t really pulled out Spring décor so it’s in a transition phase.
Don’t you love these little quilts that I used for the bottom shelf?
I’m joining Beautiful Sunday and
Lavender Cottage for Mosaic Monday.
Have you decorated for Spring?

I think a Lanai or Florida Room is a great asset in a warm climate. I'd have fun decorating one I know. :) Yes, I have decorated for Easter/Spring already. Easter is coming up fast although I think it will be a snow filled one as we still have lots of the white stuff on the ground. Spring? Maybe in May. Have a great week Diane.
I put away the winter things, so does that count? Those are adorable little quilts. I see you were lucky again and won some lovely little gifts. Enjoy the weekend.
Awesome quilted bedspreads dolls that you have probably made them all!! I sure do hope that spring is here!!
Diane, I still have my ice skates and a wool scarf on the porch LOL. This week they will be put away. I am past ready for spring. It maybe in the high 50's on Wednesday.Yippee. I love your lanai...wish I had one. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
What a pretty room - I would definitely want it heated and cooled - seems you would get more use out of it. The pretties are wonderful and I love the Raggedy Anns and the darling quilts. I have a few small quilts and should photograph them with my dolls - great idea.
I've not really decorated for winter - after christmas it seems that our weather went right into spring. I have some St. Patricks things out - but spring decorating to me means Easter and pastels - that I haven't yet done - but I'm at least thinking about it. Happy Sunday to you.
I always loved a Florida room. Here we call them sunrooms and this house doesn't have one.
I love those cute little quilts. xo Diana
Cute, cute quilts, love the bonnets and your Florida room sounds heavenly.
Warm Hugs,
Jemma
I love all your little "pretties" and all this talk of your lanai makes me so anxious to get back on my porch. I can use it about 3/4 of the year in a good warm year!It was beautiful and relatively warm today though it was spitting some flurries earlier in the day. Still feels a bit like spring and I am grateful for that! Even the birds were singing! Have a great week Diane!

Yes! Its a beautiful warm and sunshine filled day here in Charleston! I threw open all the windows and yep....got out the EASTER decor box and decorated late last nite. Spring is the best!
Your little quilts are adorable. It is sweater weather here today so I am a happy camper. xo Laura
So nice to have an extra room of any kind! Enjoy your day!
That would easily be my favorite room in the house. xo
Diane, your Florida room looks so cute with the decorations. I love the quilt and the dolls! Great photos and mosaic! Have a happy new week ahead!
I am transitioning from winter to spring as well. It feels wrong to decorate for spring with all the snow out there.
Your sweet treasures look springy to me. So cute!
You always have the best decorations. We hit 40 degrees today! A heat wave! Those snowbanks will eventually start melting. Can't wait. I'm pulling out the spring decor!
What a pretty collection of quilts. A lanai or Florida room has always appealed to me.
I love the quilts on the bottom shelf. They are so unique.
Those quilts do look pretty my friend. We really don't change much for decoration. We live in such a small space there is not much room to store things. But I do love to buy spring flowers..
Hugs~
I LOVE the quilts, Diane! They add charm and sweetness :)
Happy Monday! Hugs!
Florida, well I have been happy I left fl. till this winter. My daughter just spent Feb in Boca and was shocked to see all the snow.
No spring so no decorating....but I really have little in the way of seasonal decorations anymore since downsizing. And I am hopeful to add vases of flowers to decorate for spring.
I love your all's lanai! We dont have one here but we do have a courtyard and we love that for our container gardens and fountains. It is not covered though...so cant rit out there on rainy days
After spending a month in Florida with a screened in lanai, we would love to have one in Ontario but the snow would crumple it in no time.
I like the little quilts used on the shelf, and like you the spring things haven't been dug out yet. Soon!
Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday Diane.
Diane, seeing your dolls is so cheerful. They look cute sitting there on your bakers rack. They sure do add charm to your house.
Oh, I wanted to tell you that the picture on my last post wasn't a crow, I think it was a meadowlark. I bet the birds are chirping away in Florida right now.
Have a fun week.

Or maybe a black bird? I can't tell hehehe.

Do I see my favorite doll, Ragady Ann ?
Sweet! Just sweet! Of course you know I like the little quilts. :)
I can tell you enjoy decorating your lanai...
Love your little quilts! So sweet! Can I have a Florida room in Arkansas? Although I stopped heating it so I guess not. I close it off for Winter now. LOL!
Beautiful quilts!
That is a great quilt! Looks like a great room to spend a lot of time enjoying yourself.
I like your lanai and the darling quilts.
What an adorable display, Diane! I love the dainty seashell garland dangling down from the top shelf. I bet you can't help but smile every time you passed by all those cute little faces! xoxo
I love all your "pretties" :)
Kim
