Old Handmade Rag Dolls “Wednesday Wee Ones”

I love Rag dolls and anything hand made.

Aren’t these the cutest Rag dolls?

And you would think I found them at the same place, at the same time but I didn’t.

I found them at 2 different thrift stores about a year apart. Look at the small dolls that match them.

They were instant sisters though and have a special place in the doll room.

Do you have any old rag dolls?

I do not have any rag dolls but I have my own childhood baby doll that my grand girls still like to play with!

I do have rag dogs. Raggedy Ann and Andy whom I I made, or rather started years ago when the girls were little and finished only a short time ago. I have others, too, that I have purchased ove the years at craft shows. I love them, but don't seem to feel the need to buy more. And nothing as exoctic as your little sweethearts. They have the best home.

I only have one rag doll that my husband gave me about thirty years ago...I keep it packed in my forever box. these are really neat and could make for great conversation objects.
I know your doll room must be adorable.

Amazing how they match so well. A nice collection. Rag dolls are so loveable. I like to think of the mother that may have made them for her children. Such a happy thought.

I don't have dolls but these are really sweet. I guess with the Grand girl on the way I'll have to acquire a few dolls.

She had Raggedy Ann and I had Andy. Hours of fun we had!

These are sweet little treasures, Diane! Don't you love it when you find 'sisters' to match? I have a few little rag dolls that my Mum made. I need to drag them out of storage....they are waaaaay in the back. I can hear my Mr. groaning now when I ask him to help me. :) I love your little doll's dresses. Hugs xo Karen

Oh, these are darling, Diane. I still have the raggedy ann doll that Nel had when she was little. I don't have many rag dolls, and that's why I enjoy seeing yours so much. :~)
