I have a tiny bunny on the sewing table that just needs a face.
I’ve mentioned her to everyone and now I realize I need HELP!
Do I stitch a sweet face on her, mark 2 dots for eyes or make sleep eyes?
I just can’t decide.
So she sits here and in the lanai waiting patiently.
What an accomplishment she was to sew. I bet you didn’t know I speak Japanese! ( hahaha…I DON’T!!!) But I figured out how to put her together and really only needed the pattern pieces. The link to the pattern is HERE.
I also made 3 of the sweet and easy bunnies that Stephanie showed HERE.
(the bag is a ‘lunch bag’ I made a few years ago, it has a drawstring liner)
I hope she has a lot more projects to share.
Her tutorials are FUN. Thanks Stephanie!
I’m joining the Vintage Inspiration Link party HERE,
and Roses of Inspiration.
I used vintage gingham fabric and old lace for the bunnies.
We’re seeing bunnies EVERYWHERE!

Oh the bunnies are just so cute. I would stitch the face, mostly because I cannot draw without a really good pattern that I can trace. I love her little dress. I passed on two pre made craft bunnies that need dresses at the thrift store. I haven't even put my bunny dolls this year mostly because of the of the dog. Looks like you are back to normal.
Too cute! Love the "sweet and easy" bunnies too. Maybe just a smile on your bunny? I did that on a rag doll years ago; it was cute that way. Funny cloud! Kinda looks like an elephant too. Is this one of those mental tests?? Ha, ha...
Bunnies, bunnies, bunnies, and even sky bunnies!
Your bunnies are all so cute. As for the face, I vote for a sweet one as she already looks so sweet in her little dress.
Funny how you are even seeing bunnies in the clouds. I guess it's true what they say about them multiplying everywhere.
She needs a sweet bunny face! You are just too talented!!
That last bunny was an elephant bunny! I rather like your Japanese bunny with a plain face...she just looks so cute already. You must be fabulous with puzzles!
Wait a minute! I now see that "the trunk" is really an ear. =D
Cute bunnies! Love all the colors. You are so talented Sis!
hugs,
Linda
What darling little bunnies! I'm very inspired by your sewing. Now I'd put a sweet face on that cute little bunny! :) I'll have to go and check out her site.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Morning, sweet bunnies hoping down the bunny trail. Blessings Francine.
Hi there - Your bunnies are really sweet. Love the cloud bunny too!
You my friend are gifted. I love your sweet bunnies. A simple sweet face would be my choice, but I know whatever you decide will be wonderful. Blessings
I love those fabric bunnies in the basket - so sweet. And I think you should make sleepy eyes on the other bunny - then she will look happy I think. I have been looking at pinterest and getting ideas for easter/spring things - but so far it is just looking - have to finish up my Wee Ones post too - so much fun to be had out there.
Adorable bunnies, Diane. Faces are hard - so many decisions. You'll make the right one.
There are bunnies on my sewing table today, too. But they are not yet ready for photos!
Cute bunnies! They look great in that cute little basket.

Diane, That is funny , your cloud bunny. I love your new handmade bunnies. I would not know what kind of face to put on the bunny. I would look around first.Blessings, xoxo,Susie
The bunnies are adorable!
Bunnies everywhere indeed! They are multiplying heavenwards! Cute picture!
I love your Japanese bunny as she waits!
Have a great day!
Your bunnies are so cute! I would stitch a face because I am not very good at drawing. I love looking in the clouds for pictures. That certainly looks like a bunny :)
Kim
Oh, the bunnies are just precious! You know, your bunny looks adorable with no face at all too! You are a very talented seamstress, Diane :)
Something really simple for the face. It's really a cute bunny.
Diane,
Just returned from Sunny Sacramento and catching up. You know my heart so enjoys visiting you-love these bunnies every single one of them!
Warm Hugs,
Jemma
Bunny is so cute. I have a cloth doll without a face and granddaughter wonders why. I've thought of adding a face but, like you, can't decide what to do and I don't want to spoil it.
Hi Diane,
Wow your big bunny you made is so nice and of course the little ones too! That is so nice that you are getting your inspiration from Stephanie and her cute bunnies! You too are just so talented with sewing. I love the lunch box you made too. Hope you are enjoying the warmth and sunshine of Florida! Have a nice week.

Very sweet as is but I think at least two little sleeping eyes would be cute. Blank faces creep me out haha!
I love this bunny, Diane, because it has droopy ears. I can't wait to see the sweet face you sew on it. I also like the colors and pattern in your lunch bag, so pretty.
Yes, I see the bunny in the cloud - how fantastic! I am always looking for images in the clouds.
Have a wonderful week.

Your bunny on your work table is so sweet! A little face on her will be so cute, can't wait to see how you decide! :) Love those three bunnies too! I made one very similar last year, except my ears were just straight. So cute! xo Holly
ps. Love your horse header ;)
LOVE that sky bunny. I think your faceless bunny is adorable no matter what kind of face you put on her.
Love all your bunnies. xo Diana
A very sweet bunny Diane, I think she'd look adorable with a stitched face!
All your bunnies are adorable! I loved those sweet bunnies when Stephanie showed them. Oh gosh, I think any of those choices would make a cute face for your bunny. :)
Love all your bunnies and sure a sweet face will appear.
Wow! didn't know a squirrel could grow that big and what a tail, very interesting.
How adorable! She is even cute without eyes.
How about that cloud bunny....it is adorable!! Ok...I have to say that the yellow gingham bunny sure caught my eye.. it is so cute!! my vote would be a stitched face....
Blessings.
I love all the bunnies. They are so cute. I love the yellow and green gingham bunnies. I am crazy for gingham.
I also like your cloud bunny.

Oh is she adorable. You are really talented. xo
I love those bunnies! The bag too! The fabrics are so bright and cheery! Yes, that cloud does look like a bunny doesn't it? Go ahead and stitch a face! She is so sweet! You sure are talented plus you seem to understand Japanese! lol!!!

Linda
So much bunny cuteness, my friend! I agree with some of the others your rabbit is adorable even without eyes. I look forward to seeing what you do with her.
Also, I love your other rabbits and the way you tweaked their ears - you are so clever, Diane! Thanks for sharing with Roses of Inspiration. Hugs!
Aww cute bunnies ..so pretty xx
Ah she's sweet, even faceless likd those amish dolls but whether you stitch or draw she'll be happy :)
Preciosos tus conejitos, besos
Oh those bunnies are so sweet!!! Maggie
I love all the little bunnies! The trio remind me of bunnies I made for my kids when they were little. The ears were both straight, otherwise everything looks the same. They were fun to make! Your Japanese bunny is just precious.
Beautiful bunnies, each and every one, but especially the mystery girl who awaits a face with character.
Happy Spring, my friend!
Poppy
What a cutie she is. Bunnies in the sky, what are the chances of seeing that again? Thanks so much Diane for sharing at Vintage Inspiration Party.
Love love your bunnies.
Happy Spring they all seem to say.
Woolie Hugs
I can tell Easter bunnies are a big deal to you! And the fox squirrel below - no, I've never seen these huge squirrels in California:)
I just love all your Easter bunnies. Be sure to share your Japanese bunny later too. Easter hugs!
Your bunnies are so cute! I'm impressed you speak bunny-Japanese!
Your bunnies are wonderful. They definitely brought a smile to my face.
All are adorable bunnies! I just love them all. The eyes for that one, I would likely do "awake" 2 black or brown dot eyes. Maybe even tiny 1/8" buttons?
She is an adorable bunny and after all that work you want the perfect face...So, I would stitch it then if it is not perfect you can redo it?? Your other bunnies are adorable too!

There are red dirt roads where I grew up and here in North Alabama as well. But I have seen roads like those around Savannah. I love old cemeteries and I am glad this one is well kept. Seems the younger generation does not see the value in tending graves that our parents and grandparents grew up with in time past.
Your bunny is so sweet, I think it would look great no matter what you decide to do. The bunnies in the basket turned out great too, love the fabrics you chose!
What a sweet bunny with a pretty dress. Faces are always my great downfall so I'm not offering any advice :-)

Your bunny is so darn sweet. You did a wonderful job. I can't wait to see how you do the face. And your bunnies look so sweet. I love the color of material you used for them.
Hugs~
Those bunnies are sweet and I am always seeing things in clouds but I have never seen a bunny...great shot!
What a great easter craft. I love it! So alive and colorful, and yes I do have my own share of assembling things on my own just because I can't read the manual in "alien" characters for me hahaha
