Aahhhh….FALL! Tis the Season!

Well, for us it’s the season we’ve looked forward to so that we can get OUT! It’s been a long hot summer here in Florida and we have plans to get OUTside…walk on the beach, hike up a mountain, spend time with family…and in general have some FUN!

petuniasDSCN2518

I’ve decided to take a blog break so that I can really enjoy it all. I’ll pop in and visit when I can but I’m not going to schedule posts if I can’t visit all of you.

And I won’t forget you while I’m outside playing! I’m going to look for something special that I think you would like and have a giveaway when I get back on my computer. Now…what would you like? Maybe I’ll go to a Fall Festival and buy something handmade. That’s always my favorite giveaway gift!

I’m wishing you a beautiful Fall season! I am thankful for each and every one of you. Email me if you have something you want to share. I’ll still be ‘online’…just not as much!

Thanks Wendy for telling me how to make little banners!

I’ll miss you all! Red rose

Don’t forget to have some FUN along the way!

Sun See you soon! Sun

Fall has arrived here too--came after Hurricane Matthew! I love the cooler temperatures and have spent a lot of time in the garden getting it ready for winter. Seems like the months just pass by so quickly, but I love staying in touch with my Apron Sisters!

Well, won't we all miss you just too much my dear? But have a great adventure and enjoy the autumn When we get to autumn here in NW WA it is time to pull our heads into our shells and retreat indoors - rain rain rain rain - and then it rains - and then a rain storm - and guess what - it is raining. It is a good thing I adore rain. Everything is put away on the deck - just a few skeletons of lawn furniture and some pots of pansies that love the rainy autumn and winter here. Temperatures in the mid 50s during the day - rain splashing against the windows - stew in the crock pot - lovely days to enjoy a cup of tea, a cookie and a little crafting - I do enjoy the feel of gathering in and looking forward to the holidays. Have a super time my dear.

Wondered where you where. Out playing. Sounds like a great idea to me. We are going to have a mini family reunion in San Antonio this next weekend at a resort I was going to tell you about me trying on a swimsuit...and coming to the realization that I could write a horror story about that!
I feel sure that you are finding lots of pretty things to photograph. See you when you return. Janey

Have fun and I don't blame you! I'm doing the same thing only working outside but I enjoy it. You'll notice I haven't been blogging as regularly either! LOL! I did post yesterday about 'a bunch of books' though....you don't have to comment but I thought you might want to take a look. Enjoy your outdoor fun, family and adventures!

Well I hope you're enjoying your hiatus - we were in Florida in April and lord, it was hot then! And yes we even had a hot summer here in the North East. It was 80 just last week, but in the 30's over night and 50-ish today.

Looks like we might get some rain today, but this weekend, I'm planting over 100 bulbs! The nights have turned chilly enough, but still in the 70s during the day. Southern Fall is definitely different from the Pacific Northwest! XOXO

I found your site while looking up the black Ibis. The Ibis is my favorite bird , there were some in the hay field across the road so I stopped to look and there were a few black ones. Did not know they came in black. The next day there was a whole flock of them. I feel very fortunate to have seen them. I live in Clermont Fl
