I went to TWO festivals last weekend!
(above taken at Rainbow Springs Cracker Festival)
And I came home with some goodies. The nice people at Sholom Park’s Fun at the Park event gave away bags filled with fun!
I gave away one of the books, donated one to the library and kept one.
Yes, I kept the coloring book and I have crayons and colored pencils to color in it!
I bought two items at the Cracker Festival at Rainbow Springs.
My daughter in law said this looks like an ‘I SPY’ box!!!
Do you ‘spy’ the snake? I bought it for my hubby for a grand total of $2!!!
I guess I thought I was worth more than that because I bought myself this handmade box for $10 which I thought was a great bargain!
I think it looks nice with my old books and pottery.
I’m thankful for festivals, pretty handmade items and nice people! How about you?
I’m joining Thankful Thursdays.

you came home with some great things! that does look like an i spy tray...i loved those books when my kids were younger!
The little wooden box looks so cute with the old books. Are you going to fill it with tiny treasures?
I love your little wooden box and your old books. I would have definitely stopped at the wooden box, not the snake. I have a terrible fear of them, even painted ones:)
Cute purchases...I love the snake! What a fun way to spend a day!
fun finds! xoxo Su
Great finds...lovely week love Ria x ❤️
Well, my Thankful Thursday brings me to all my blogging friends I've come to know! Your finds are wonderful and you're so kind to share the books! XOXO
What is Mr. Lavender going to do with the snake? He won't decorate a shelf with it, I hope. That box is a great find. I have a thing for boxes and tins and things like that and I see that you do, too.
Wow -- great box! It looks like an excellent and grand time -- and productive, too!
Hello, your new box is pretty. The box looks nice with your books on the shelf. I like your collection of shells too. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day and the weekend ahead!
Wonderful treasures. What are you keeping in that pretty box?
I love festivals ----and truly, the most interesting part to me are all of the friendly and interesting people.... BUT--you can always find some little treasures to take home...
Thanks for sharing..
Hugs,
Betsy
Diane, I love your finds. The snake is so cute. I like the treasure box. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
It's always fun to "score" or find a great bargain at a festival. I like your box, but probably not the snake. Even if it's not real, it's too real looking for me!!!!
I love that box with all of your lovely sea shells! It must be so much fun walking on the beach collecting them. The books are great too. You always find such great things. Have a wonderful weekend.
You picked up some jewels Diane. I love to go to those kinds of events but I make myself really question before I bring something home.( And here I am cleaning out and still wanting more stuff!!) I just love beautiful things.
Love the ISpy box! I spy with my little eye... a bottle cap or two?
I love your box. It reminds me of one I got in the Great Smokey Mountains many years ago. xo Laura
I love festivals and fairs. Handmade items are so special. That box is beautiful,I love the grain of the wood. That snake is funny in your 'I Spy' box!! I have been doing some coloring in books also. Hugs!
Diane, that box is so pretty! And that does look like an I SPY box! or maybe Where's Waldo! :-)
Of course I always love children's books, especially old children's books, Diane! I would have bought that box too. It looks great, very well made. I love old treasure boxes like that and have a few myself. :-) Hope you have a nice weekend! xo
My blogger friend Sandra went to the start of the Cracker Festival and posted some cool cowboy on pretty horses pictures. Small world. I love coloring, I must post about that soon. So peaceful and so much fun. I'm glad you had such a fun day.
...my, you are a big spender!
Love seashells and the box is really very nice; we all need a treasure box!
And it is so good to be thankful!
Blessings, Roxy

The wooden box is pretty, Diane. It looks nice on your shelf. You came home with lots of goodies. You know, The Berenstain Bears is my favorite children's book, and I still have the ones I read to the kids when they were little. : )
Have a restful weekend.

I love the box - $ 10.00 is a bargain.
That box is a bargain for 10 bucks! I also enjoy going to festivals. Never know what you might find! Thanks for linking up today and I hope you have a great weekend!
I like that box, too. I have read a lot Zane Grey books, but not that one.
Oh, what fun these fairs are! I love seeing all the things on offer and trying to get a bargain. You did well with the box and the snake!
You always find the best goodies at these events, Diane. You have a good eye!
QUe bonitos objetos!!!!
Morning, great treasures you found, love a bargain. Blessings Francine.
Great finds . . . I miss thrifting . . . maybe as the weather gets nicer there will be sometime for outings. It is suppose to reach 45 degrees today . . . that will feel like a heatwave after our cold winter :)
What a cool box, Diane! "The Lorax" book is right in time for Dr. Seuss's b'day celebration weekend. The Springfield Museum celebrates the Springfield native's March 2 birthday on Saturday this year. :)

Hello Diane! Super fun finds, I LOVE the ' I spy' box even with the snake!
What a great festival!
Happy weekend!
Great finds, although I scrolled very quickly past the snake - that's something I just can't stand.
Fun finds. I like the box too.
Have a great weekend,
Carla
I am glad to see that you kept the coloring book. Now we can be friends! Ha! Ha!
I once had a printer's tray like the one you bought for $2. I put seashells in mine also. I think they are pretty.
Your little handmade box made me regret selling mine at a garage sale. Like yours all the pieces were dove tailed. So pretty.
Have a happy weekend!
ooh, I love that box! So pretty and it does look so nice next to the old books on the shelf!!! I love finding treasures like that!!! The snake gave me a chuckle! ;)
xo
Linda
You sure did well with your purchases - I do like that box.
All the best Jan
I'm not a good shopper. If I lived near you, I'd sign up for lessons... you really score the most amazing stuff.
