We haven’t walked to the pond with our camera lately. And now that the sun is setting later, I can go after dinner. The light was really too low for good photos but that didn’t stop me from taking a few! lol
It’s a small pond surrounded by the gold course, with a few houses on the other side of the pond.
I saw the Canada Geese fly in while I was walking and they landed as far away from me as they could get!
Lots of Ring-Necked Ducks on the pond..
and other ducks. (that will remain nameless)
I loved this duck across the way. (I think it’s a hybrid Mallard)
Beauty in every direction and an amazing sunset!
A perfect evening to hike in shorts and a tee shirt!
It’s Florida!
I’m joining Mosaic Monday HERE

That is one positive thing about DST, we do get those extra hours in the evening. I love the low light..it makes a dream like photo.

That is my favorite time of day! Gorgeous sunset photos and love the variety of birds. We woke to rain this a.m. Hope you have a nice day.

From Japan to Florida!🌷
There is nothing as beautiful as a silhouette of a tree...or whatever against the setting sun, is there? Beautiful photos! HUGS!
Your images are lovely. I've started walking in the evenings. As long as there is a breeze, it doesn't feel too humid! Ducks are fun to watch. They make me smile! Happy Monday!
I love the Canada geese till they poop on my beach. But oh, very majestic birds!
Hi Diane, oh how nice to go on those walks in the evening. I love that it stays lighter out now in the evenings especially when I am driving around.
I loved looking at the beautiful photos of the sunset and the ducks on the pond. Have a great week and enjoy those walks.
Thanks for sharing at Cooking and Crafting with J & J.

Pretty photos! Your walks are always pretty great!
Your photos are really pretty. I can just imagine how it must have felt out there at day's end. I love that time of day.
That first shot is marvelous.
Wishing it were warm enough here to walk in a tee shirt, but not yet here in IN. You have some very lovely photos!
That was an amazing sunset, an early evening stroll wearing just shorts and a T shirt sounds heaven. We've still got a little bit of snow here in England with more forecast before we leave for France next weekend, Ho Hum!
Happy MM.
I love my shorts and tees too. Beautiful walk.
Diane, I am envious of your Florida weather. We have had chilly or slightly warm days here. I like that little Mallard duck. It reminds me of the book "Ping".
I'm happy to tell you that I've decided to start a crafty blogger blog and I hope that you will visit. xo

Wonderful photos even if you say it was not a good time for them. I like photos at all times of day. Lots of fowls in the pond. Is the merganser the one who must remain nameless?
Beautiful my friend!!
Diana, The brown ducks are the females. A silhouette tree against the sun is always wonderful. Have a great week. Sylvia D.
Yes, the days are getting longer ... yippee! After dinner walks are glorious ... thanks for leading the way for us!
I would LOVE to live in Florida! And here I am in Texas!!!
I enjoyed our walk, Diane. It looks like a nice, cool evening.

I like the twilight time, too. To see the photos, I really understand why you couldn’t stop taking pictures. Looking at the wildlife is soothing. Your photos are so nice even taken with that low light. How beautiful the rosy clouds!

Thanks for sharing your wonderful setting sun photos Diane. Happy you dropped in at my blog this week
much love...
Happy Spring, sweet friend! Thank you for sharing your beautiful photos. While the light may have been too low/dark, I think the pictures were lovely...especially the first one :)
Hugs to you!
There is so much wonderful wildlife to see in Florida, and I can't blame them for going there to enjoy the nice weather as much as people do! Ducks are entertaining to watch. I love how their bottoms show when they dive for food.
Oh the beauty of God's world! I loved that shot of 'nameless' ducks. The reflections on the water are sheer beauty. We're expecting freezing rain and its already here. yuk, and so dangerous if we must drive....don't think we do though. More sweet hours to knit. Wishing you a very good kind of day!
It is such a blessing to walk and see such beautiful graceful creatures, and then be blessed by such a gorgeous sunset too! Now walking in shorts and a t-shirt is a long ways off for us here, but its good to know spring is coming in your world now! Hugs to you today :)
Hello my friend, very pretty neighborhood and the area around the pond just looks so calm and quiet and peaceful! I love your pictures of the ducks and the sky and the water. Can you beleive it's almost April? I am sure ready for it and so glad spring is officially here now. Do y'all have anything planted yet? Our azaleas are in full bloom, we have white ones and hot pink and the deeper pink--almost like red. I love them all. Sure looking forward to getting container gardens going and watching things grow. I sure hope I have better luck with my morning glories and moon flowers this year, last year they didn't do anything (the morning glories) and the moon flowers were sparse. Morning glories have always been so easy for me, so not sure what happened there, LOL.
Shorts and t-shirts shirt sure sounds good to me! Beautiful bird photos!! We're all snow and cold here.
awww, shorts and a tee shirt, those are the best clothes ever made!!!
i like evening walks, seems the temperatures are always just right and you get to see the sunset!!
which by the way was beautiful!!!
These are beautiful. I'm watching snow come down. It is pretty, but I am tired of boots and worrying if I'll slip. So enjoyed your warmer weather pictures.
Dear Diane ... Thank You for sharing all these beautiful photos...I used to live in Daytona Beach and so can appreciate the beauty of Florida...Lucky you ... I truly marvel at the abundance of flora and wildlife that is available for us all to enjoy ... Your phots brought back fond memories... BIG HUGS
We do indeed love our Florida! Your photos are beautiful (as always!).
I'm not quite in shorts yet, but I feel it in the air. Very pretty in different types of like. I've never heard of a hybrid mallard, cool.
We are so lucky!! Your photos here and in the post about Spring are just fantastic. I love the long evenings too.
It sounds like a nice walk at sunset, Diane. I don't see the sunsets as often as I'd like, but I do enjoy those sunrises. : ) It's always a treat to see the Geese. Yes, they are cautious ones. I can see how they didn't get too close to you.
