Outdoor Sculptures at Tuscawilla Park

One of the reasons my sweet hubby planned a Sunday afternoon trip to Tuscawilla Park was the outdoor sculpture displays they have right now.

And we were not disappointed!

They were all amazing!

A perfect Spring day to walk and enjoy one of the nicest parks in Ocala.

We both found one of the painted rocks that are hidden throughout the park too.

We put them back though so that someone else can find them.

Have you been to a city park near you lately?

Wonderful, another sculpture park! Great to know! We visited one in Loveland, Colorado last summer and it was wonderful! Thank you and Happy Week!

Diane, Loved the sculptures. I love clean parks. We drove thru our city park about a month ago. It's getting so many trees removed. Ash bore has killed the ask trees. So it looks so different after years of many tall trees. I want all my sisters to go walking there with me when the weather gets nicer. Blessings for a great new week. xoxo, Susie

How fun. I love the hidden painted rocks. I do walk in our parks, but March has not been very conducive to that this year. xo Laura

Hello Diane!:) How beautiful those sculptures are! Love the birds near the water, the elephant, eagle, and the streamlined blue and yellow sculpture. We have abstract sculptures in our parks,...nice, but I confess to liking the critter ones best.

Hello, the sculptures are wonderful. I like the elephant. It is fun finding the painted rocks and nice you left them behind for others to find.
Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!

I would love to go for a walk in the park today but instead I am going to be outside working in the yard. I'm thinking that will count as exercise!
You have such pretty parks there!

Oh yes, Diana we love our parks and walk the Heritage Trail that winds around our city often. We have sculptures as well, doting different areas of the trail. I like that you left the rocks for others to enjoy. Have a great day. ♥

What a perfect day to see such fantastic art! Yes I have been to a nearby park recently. We had a wet cold winter and I am so happy that Spring is here!Have a nice week!

Beautiful!!
Tell me more about the rocks. Do people paint them and hide them and you find them and hide them again? I love the idea.

At the Senior Center that I deliver some of my Meals on Wheels to, this past Autumn some high school girls painted lovely rocks with sayings on them .. Hope .. Joy .. Love and so on. They placed them at the doorstep of buildings. The Senior Center received two.
They were painted so pretty. I thought it a lovely idea.

Dearest Diane; OMG!!! These sculptures reminded me of our city park and city ♧♧♧
The first great sculpture with birds is lovely with other wonderful works. Isn't it the happiest time to enjoy the works and spring walk in the park (especially with your husband) ♫♫♫

The url is one of my city park's post with sculpture.

What an inspiring installation. I hope it gets lots of people (especially families) outside and exploring. Sounds like the hidden rocks might be aimed at the kids (but I am not surprised you would be delighted to find them too!) LOL. I have not been to a city park lately other than to run through it - still snowy and cold here ...

Howdy there my friend. Some great pictures here. Neat sculptures! We love our city parks too!!-- and they are free! LOL Glad you liked the post with the murals. I love to walk along and look at them and also check for new ones. You're right--if they have profanity on them I don't like them. Guess I like clean pretty things! ha ha ha LOl Hope your week has started out great! It's nice here after a very chilly weekend and looks like we may have a warm and lovely Easter Sunday!

Alas, we do not have parks as you do. Thank you for sharing yours! (I like the painted rocks idea. That could be a fun way of delighting someone’s day.)

What a wonderful display of the sculptures! It would make a nice outing. We toured around a park far east of us last summer that had some permanent sculptural work, and they too were quite amazing. Love the hidden decorated rocks ... I love searching for stuff like that ;)
