We love this park but haven’t been in awhile.
We thought of you when we were there, Eileen! (she visited this park when she was in Florida)
It was surprising to see lots of different birds….
not the usual birds we’ve seen in the past.
We even saw a Belted Kingfisher fly by and land in a tree across the way.
It’s nice that hubby has a good zoom on his camera!
Don’t you LOVE these Seagulls?
Lots of posing…
and flying!
And even a photo bombing when hubby was trying to photograph a Great Blue Heron. A Gull flew by just as he clicked!
We both had our cameras clicking!
I’m joining Saturday’s critters HERE
and I’d Rather B Birdin’.

Pretty walk. Love the belted kingfisher.
Hello,
I remember walking around this park a few years ago. It was really nice. I love seeing all the birds, the Cormorants, Gulls and Heron are all wonderful. The Kingfisher is a great bird and wonderful photo. Thank you for linking and sharing your post. I also appreciate your visit and comment. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!

...I haven't seen a Kingfisher in years, thanks!
Thanks for all of your photographs.
It looks a lovely park, I enjoyed my walk with you.
Enjoy your weekend.
All the best Jan
You two have shared some amazing photos. Enjoy the weekend.
I see Kingfishers at the lake now and then. At least I think I do! Beautiful photos and how wonderful you both enjoy shooting!
Beautiful Diane...I always enjoy seeing your nature photos.
Beautiful park is this.
Very beautiful this kind of kingfisher, which we do not see in the Netherlands.
Best regards, Irma
Oh beautiful nature shots! Beautiful park too!

Pretty park! Love that you keep photographing these amazing birds to share with us!!
It looks like a lovely park. You both got some great shots of those birds.
Gorgeous birds! What a wonderful park!
Hello Diane!:) What a lovely park, and you took some beautiful pictures of the lake, the gorgeous Belted Kingfisher with the crazy but wonderful hairdo, the gulls and Egrets, and photo bomber photo made me smile.:=)
I've ALMOST gotten a photo of a kingfisher! Good work!
(ツ) from Cottage Country Ontario , ON, Canada!
Those long lenses do come in handy. Especially so for smaller size birds. Good work in capturing that Belted Kingfisher.
A lovely park and WOW to all those birds!
Diane, You certainly have a great assortment of birds there. Love that pretty kingfisher. Seagulls in Florida are like starlings here. :):) Blessings, xoxo, Susie
p.s. Emma is in Florida...wish you could see her.
Pretty park and lovely walk . . . I think it is wonderful that you and your husband love walking and exploring your area together. I am hoping that when my Steve finally retires, that I can get him to walk with me. It is so good for your health and getting out in the fresh air looking at nature is the number one way to relieve stress.
Love seeing the critters! Very pretty!
I love the caption on the last photo. I often wonder what birds and animals are thinking about us as we take their photos...although sometimes I think maybe it's better that we don't know!
I had a big bird photo bomb me this afternoon when I was out in our parking lot photographing the Thunderbird jets doing their air show down the road--those birds think they can fly anywhere and anytime they want!!!
great photos--
enjoy, di
What a great walk. Love the kingfisher. I used to see them when I walked around the lake where we used to live.
Such a pretty place and you took such wonderful photos of the birds! Love the last photo with the caption!
Love the last shot with the speech bubble. Hilarious!
Wonderful pictures as usual. Such a pretty place to take pictures of the birds. Thanks for your help identifying the "mystery" bird on my blog.
Nothing better than a nice long walk on a pretty and sunny day! I love when you take us along to see your sights. We vist quite a few of your parks when in Florida because when you travel with two dogs, we have to find a place to walk them. Not just for them "doing their business" but so they can also enjoy the fresh air, sunshine, and all the fun things to see and TO SNIFF AND SMELL, ha ha LOL. We liked all of the parks we've been to, some very small city/town parks and some large ones like that big one in Orlando. (the name escapes me now, sorry) We also so love our parks here in Charleston. Buying a year pass pays off very very quickly, for our county parks. I'm trying to remember when we last visited a State Park, maybe when we evacuated for a hurricane, maybe??---not sure. There is also a State Park in Myrtle Beach we really enjoy. Do y'all go to any State parks there? I also love the Tennessee State parks.
looks like a lovely park for a visit. Have a great week, and thank you for stopping by my blog last week.
Beautiful photos! Love the Kingfisher!
i love seagulls, they are home for me!! the kingfisher is a beauty. and although they are in this area, i have never seen one. beautiful captures of nature!!
have a wonderful sunday!!!
A lot of high flyers today. Any park with anhinga-cormorant buddies is a good park.
Looks like a very nice place to walk. Love all the birds, but the photo bombing gull made me laugh. Love that you posted it.
How lovely to capture such fabulous pictures of the birds... I think maybe they were posing for you and your hubby ...Such a peaceful walk... filled with bird antics...What fun !!!..Happy Easter.
I'm so envious of the Kingfisher photo! All your (and hubby's) photos are good as always, but I have tried for years to get a good picture of a Kingfisher...we see them fairly often here and in Oregon and points between, but every time I put the camera up to my eye they fly away.... every.single.time!!! Thanks for the lovely pictures ... and this Park looks like an amazing place to walk.
