Rain Rain, go away, come again…

….when we need it!

rDSCN3254

We’ve been stuck in a rainy pattern lately. The sun shines, but then the clouds build and it rains. Every day! I know I shouldn’t complain because it’s keeping the temps very pleasant and the roses are blooming their pretty little heads off. It would be nice to space it out though and bring in some cooling showers during the summer months.

Plus I have plans for some fun activities this week! lol I’ll share when….and if I get to actually ‘have some fun’!

I kept trying to get the perfect photo of these raindrops and then hubby came to the rescue with his better camera! Thanks hubby!

It seems like everything depends on the weather.

The upside is all those cut roses. It has been raining lots for y'all. April showers came in May instead I guess.

This morning we are pulling out all our knock out roses, same shade of beautiful red pink as yours - they weren't happy here due to multiple pest attacks and perhaps too much water off the roofline - after 8 years of struggling with them we decided to let them go. Bummer! Yours are beautiful and obviously happy where they live

Your photos are beautiful, and I love the raindrops on the roses. You can send some of that rain to Texas!

Yes, we always want what we don't have - LOL. It is dry here, and we always worry about fire season - so send me your rain! Love the roses, especially with the rain drops!!!

I have never seen a Zebra Swallowtail Butterfly. It is striking. One has to stop and stare at it. Hope you don't drown in all that water. You can send some up here!

Gorgeous rose photos. Weather comes whether we like it or not, it seems. I hope the rain has ended so that you can do what you'd planned this week. And that you'll tell us about it. I'm missing MM this week, too.

WE have been saying the same thing:Rain, Go Away. Finally yesterday the sun came out and stayed. Today is off to a good start. We are in tornado season, now, with heady thunder heads building in the west and north each day and we watch them roll right around us. Thank you! Still the threat of hail and bad wind looms each afternoon. Bring on the the sun. Enjoy your weekend.

Hi,
Our weather is NUTS!! We have 90 degrees in the forecast for all week! And no rain, we are starting to feel very dry around here. I am already watering the garden.

I LOVE the photos. The Zebra Swallowtail Butterfly is beautiful.

Yup - rain here most days, but not a lot, just perpetual gloom. The roses are so beautiful. The perfect shades of 'rose'! Hope you get sun for the fun! xx Karen

We had so much rain last week the seeds were sprouting in the bird feeder! We have a pond still sitting in the back of our yard. I do hope it is not breeding mosquitoes!! xo

Such lovely rose pictures, Diane, especially that first one. A rose looks even prettier with a few drops of water on it, don't ya think? And that butterfly is stunning. So glad you got some rain. It cleans everything up and makes it fresh again. It's raining here today!

love, ~Sheri

I'm always grateful for rain, the opposite here in summer can lead to forest fires so quickly. But it does get a bit dreary, I agree.

I LOVE your rose photos, how exquisite!!!

Hugs to you Diane.

In this part of Florida, it is raining so hard (Tropical Storm A now, but it has been raining for a week or so here too. I thought it was supposed to rain in the summer.... everybody tells me it is the rainy season here. It must have started early this year!)
