The drama continues but we're STILL HERE!

My husband woke me up early to let me know we were still here! Lavender Dreams too is up and running! YAY! And I had lots of happy emails today too!

But of course nothing is ever easy! Now some of you are letting me know you get a message from Microsoft saying my blog might be unsafe. So I guess I have made it on 'a list'.

It reads "We recommend that you do not continue to this website. It has been reported to Microsoft for containing threats to your computer that might reveal personal or financial information."

I assure you that I am NOT phishing....which is what I was accused of from the beginning. I am not trying to gather personal or financial information from any of you. I just want to have a happy blog and post pretty pictures. And I hope you'll continue to visit me. I appreciate each and every one of you. Enjoy your day!

Sweet hugs, Diane

So glad things are getting back to normal! I know that scripts can contain malicious code, so maybe you had something running on your website that became corrupted. Who knows? Just glad Blogger is fixing things!

Sounds as if a hacking went on... Hope that someone with the ability to figure it out can get things back in order. I know that you have lots of knowledgeable friends. 😊 Wish that included me. Ha! All the best as it gets figured out. (I have not received that message here for what it’s worth.)

Hello

I am not seeing this message since I use Chrome and not the Edge. I feel safe visiting your blog. I hope everyone else does too. So happy to see your blog returned.

You need to get your security certicicare from Blogger. Instead of your URL starting with http it should start with https. That’s probably why.

Sorry to hear all the trouble you have gone through, but to let you know I did not get any mention of their being a problem with your blog so maybe it is all fixed now :)

Hi Dianne! Please contact me at theladygadget@gmail.com. I’m a Blogger tech and can check out your blog for malware/viruses! We need to arrange me having access to the back end. I suspected this is what had happened and it looks like my suspicions are correct! Blogger doesn’t take down sites unless they become a danger to others as prt of their TOS content rules. I’ve been following you and this issue so please contact me and we can get you all straightened up! :)

Blessings!

What a nightmare for you but I am so pleased you're up and running again. BTW there was no message about your blog possibly being a threat so it looks like they fixed that as well.

I'm so glad to see your Lavender Dreams back, Diane! Yes, I'd say you've bee hacked! It sounds like some mean person sitting in the shadows somewhere randomly chose your blog just for the intent to do harm. So much of that going on in today's world. What a relief it has to be that some one helped you get it back and I surely hope this will be the end of any future issues for you! So my blog is all backed up now, as are many other's I'm sure. Sending you much love and sweet hugs, my friend!♥

I have continued to be "away" from blogging but did read about your awful situation. I'm so sorry, I can imagine, I think, a little of how it would feel. Glad you are up and running again. Amazing photo of you and your heart in the previous post! That says a lot--because you do have a lot of heart! And always so cheerful in your posts! Keep up the good work!

So so glad to see you are up and running. I think that the internet is a great place in many ways but often we have no recourse about things. I know that Claudia from Mockingbird Hill changed from Blogger to word press so she owns her own content. Just glad to see you back. Hugs!

No warning page in Chrome browser. In fact, in the url bar at the page top, beside your url is a padlock beside the https, which denotes a secure safe site. Hopefully it is all OK now. Like someone else said, I'd check any gadgets or codes you've added to the blog that are not from Google. Maybe one of them contains malware.

Omg, I didn’t even have time to write a support message in a post since I only blog once a week . I’m so glad they fixed it and hope it continues. We (meaning “mr full time life”) did have to do something to fix my blog so people didn’t get that “danger” message. I didn’t understand it at all and thus can’t explain what he did, but isn’t it wonderful to have a husband who knows stuff, like you and I do. ...but what a crappy lot of trouble. I must say that Typepad at least did send us some u fo, which is definitely better than just removing your blog....anyway, I’m so glad you are back, I hope your problems are over, and thank you to you and Mr LD for all the great posts (and the additions to my Florida ‘must-visit’ list.

I was so happy to read on Debby's blog that you got your "Lavender Dreams" back. Hope it all works out. You know my daughter Lynn lost her blog "A Mother's Journal" and years of posts and pictures. If I'm not mistaken, you followed Lynn's blog back then. If not, please forgive me. Anyway, so tickled for you.

Wow! I just read how your blog was removed. I've never heard of this before and I'm sorry you had to go through it. I''m wondering if saving the blog every now and then might help.

I'm so sorry to hear everything you've been through these last few days. That's awful. Your site is so sweet and innocent, I would never EVER dream of there being anything bad here. It's evident- you are a kind, honest person. I pray all goes well here. I didn't receive any message, so hopefully it is fixed now, whatever the issue was!?!?!

Bless your heart - for all you've been through.

Hi Diane,

How awful loosing your blog and the ordeal you have been through, so glad to hear that you are back and running.
Take care and look forward to visiting you again and seeing your photography, where you go out hiking and life in your neck of the woods.

glad you are back and everything is worked out. Your last paragraph is just the way I feel. Just want a nice little friendly place to share things with people lightheartedly and happy. I guess a word or something just triggered something and google went hog nut wild over it. Don't take much these days - geesh...
I am making sure of my back up here and I was very early on saving each post and have a couple years of them with pics along with the post. I even was downloading them to a c.d. to have. I think I better start that again., along with the other back up I have. I like the idea of being able to pull up old post with the pictures to see right away incase something goes awry.
Love seeing your birdie posts. Happy Weekend ahead, Betsy
