July Mosaic Mysteries

I've had such a good month and it's been fun to share my photos here on my blog. I appreciate all of your sweet comments and hope your month is ending with happy times too.

I took photos that I used in my posts over the month to make some mosaics.

I always end up making at least two and this time I liked them both.

Earlier in the month I posted pics of a farm nearby and got a lot of nice comments. But I think I left everyone wondering what I had done with my photos. I went to the farm two days in a row.

One day the sky looked beautiful with big billowy clouds.

But then the next day the cows were in the pasture.

First I took one photo and cropped it until I had just the cow and half of a tree.

Then I took the field with the pretty clouds in the sky and went to Photoscape, Editor, Object and clicked on the symbol for photo. That inserted the cow on TOP of the field. I made him smaller and moved him to an area where he 'fit in'. And that was how the cow got into the field.

Mystery solved, mosaic created! Enjoy your week! Hope it's filled with happiness and something interesting!

I’m joining Angie for Mosaic Monday HERE .

I knew what you did because it is one of my most favorite things to do. adding pictures to pictures. have not used photoscape, but do it with photoshop and PicMonkey. most software has that in it. love that cow. you have the best of both worlds, the fun of hiking and snapping and then editing and posting.

It is amazing what we can do with all the photo editing software we have these days. We will be able to appear in the same scene with our ancestors!

Love all the photos, but I'm struck by your watercolor bird. I love it. I'm trying watercolors and it's a fun struggle at best. In other words, I'm not good at all. :)
Have a great week!

Your mosaics are wonderful. I like them both too. Clever inserting that cow into the pasture like that. Isn't it fun to be able to do that kind of stuff to pictures?

I have always loved your mosaics, they are so pretty and alot of variety in one big picture! Hope y'all had a real nice weekend, was it any cooler at all? We had a slightly cooler spell, enjoyed getting out and had two walks. We took granddaughter to the movies and enjoyed IT SO MUCH!!, Oh, and we planted trees! well, Mr. Front Porch did, anyway, hahahaha LOL Banana trees, well think they are not properly "trees", but banana plants....still they are over 15 feet tall!!!----HUGE! Maybe we'll have bananas sometime!

Diane - you are so clever. Photoshopping that cow into the field is about as close to teleportation as we are going to get for a while! Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday!

Right away, I saw the rainbow and your art work. Both filled with color, which I appreciate, and both so wonderful. That butterfly sure is pretty too. : )

Happy August days to you, Diane.

Gorgeous photos! Love, love the sky one with the big billowy clouds. Reminds me of growing up on the farm... the fence along the road and treelined fields. My siblings and I used to love wandering around on our farm in the summer time. Thanks for the lovely reminder.
