Talented People!

When I go to Arts and Craft Fairs I am amazed at the talented people in this world! And right here in my community. I got a chance to go to TWO Craft Fairs last weekend!

First lets see what I didn't buy but really wanted! lol

The fairies!

I got to meet Susan Snodgrass and she is an amazing artist, creating fairies and mermaids out of porcelain.

I fell in love with every one of them!

The mermaid in the tea cup was very special.

But this one was my favorite!

(they were a little out of my price range but worth every penny!)

What I DID buy was a pretty quilt for my doll room.

Isn't it fun with all the cute little dresses appliqued on!

And 2 smaller square quilts (36" square) with hand embroidery.

I got to meet the quilt artists too and they were both amazing!

Of course a craft fair isn't complete without some clever finds and jewelry! What fun I had!

Something to be thankful for this week!

Have you been to a Fall festival yet?

I’m joining Thankful Thursdays  and

Katherine's Thursday Favorite things HERE.

Such a variety of likes and styles. I am far more drawn to what you came home with, but I think my artist niece would enjoy seeing SS’s work.

I enjoy visiting craft fairs too. Those fairies are just beautiful and so much work goes into creating them. I like the items you bought. Have a great day and weekend.

How beautiful these fairies are! My favorite is the one leaning back in the cup right above the mermaid. The quilts are lovely too. I just love craft fairs. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

I love craft fairs but they seem to be few and far between these days. A few churches around here still hold them near the holidays. I love the quilt with the dresses!!

Me too! I really enjoy craft fairs. My daughter will be a vendor at one next week. She makes leather earrings and bracelets and they are amazing. I liked your doll quilt...what a find! and the wrapped pearl rings, oh they are pretty! I used to made those and recently wore some of mine. I wonder if I could still do it. I've a notion togive it a try. Is that a coin purse at the bottom of the collage? Such delightful things, I've enjoyed seeing your lovely things...have a good day!

Beautiful crafts! Your doll quilts are so sweet. I attended a fall festival at church and found a sign for my front door recently.

I have not been to any craft fairs in a long, long time but Art Crawl is coming up on November 2nd and I am hoping my knee will allow me to walk around the park and see all the artists! That quilt for your doll room is precious!

Oh my gosh, I want that purple fairy and the tea cup! It is so lovely. I love how the hair on the mermaids are so wavy and carefree hehe. What a talented artist this is. The quilt for your doll room is charming. It sounds like a fun day at the Fall Festival, and so many clever and creative things to see.
