Would you rather ride?

Maybe you would like to ride a bike on the Florida Trails!

It's a nice paved trail for bicycles and there are plenty of trails through the woods for mountain biking too!

I see a lot of bikes when I walk but these are some of the neatest! (and yes, these are bikes that you pedal underneath the framing, not motorized)

And the last time we were at Blue Run Park we saw these adorable 'girls' bikes and I asked if I could take photos of them.

Aren't they the cutest?

This one says Margaritaville and has a pineapple cup holder!

So would you rather walk or ride?

I’m joining Angie for Mosaic Monday HERE .

Diane, I love those cute girl bikes. We never had bikes growing up. One of our brother's friends would come over and he would let each of us have a turn on his bike. I told his father years later ,"Kurt was a popular boy when he came to our house." LOL I sure like all the hiking trails you have there. Blessings to you, xoxo, love, Susie

Hello,

Love the girls bikes, they are cute. I have seen the other bikes some where, they are cool. I do prefer walking. Enjoy your day, have a happy new week!

I do more riding than hiking these days.

I would like to ride the aqua and pink bike. Hope you have a nice week Diane.

I like both. I can take my time to enjoy the surroundings and stop to take pictures when I walk. But when I want to feel the air blowing my hair, I would cycle.

I can't ride a bike because I fall over, but the cars look good. but my knees would not like the riding so I am choosing walk over pedaling. never seen anything like these bike cars

Diane - now I have seen it all - a pineapple cup holder! I like biking when it is a long distance and fairly flat - you can see more in a shorter period of time. But my posterior is not always a big fan, so generally I like walking! (By the way, what is the purpose of the shells over the bikes in the first few photos? To make it more aerodynamic?) Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday, and have a Margaritaville rest of the week!

Oh my, such adorable bikes! I love the ones that are covered over, yet pedaled. They look like they would be fun. We kids had bikes when we were growing up. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

I don't bicycle because I don't manage them well! Never have and admire those who can! Walking is what I do best but then some days that's a challenge, too. Have a wonderful week!

Rick would, for sure!

I's ride a bike like those! Otherwise, I'm a walker.

I have never seen bikes like those before. They remind me of soap box derby cars.
I love the mint green bike, it's really pretty

Those are very unusual looking enclosed bikes. I wonder what happens if you start to tip over. I do that all the time on a bike. When we visit college campuses the girls bikes are very popular for campus transportation. - Margy

Well, we love to walk and to hike......so I'd say I'd rather walk. The last bike I got on I WRECKED.........and it hurt something awful. I've stayed off them since then. I do love those pretty bikes in the pictures tho---love the pretty baskets and the colors. That reminds me of my childhood bike, I had a basket on a PURPLE BIKE, LOL, and it had flowers on it. We rode bikes CONSTANTLY when we were kids.

It's been years since I have ridden although I have been giving it some thought. In our neighborhood we can rent bikes by the day. I noticed on their sign that some have an electric assist. That may be the way I need to get started. After I try I'll have a better idea if I'd rather walk or ride :). The bikes in your first photos are new to me. I've never seen anything like that. The girls bikes are just plain adorable.

I like both, but given the chance to ride that adorable bike with the pineapple cup holder, I'd go for a spin! we have so many hills here, biking is very popular for serious cyclists but not so much for people like me who prefer nice level trails.

I'd love a ride on one of those pretty girls' bikes. The enclosed bikes seem too - enclosed - for me. Such great trails for riding. I loved riding bike as a child. We went all over our large subdivision in such freedom, spending hours away from home without worry. Great memories. Have a good day, Diane.

Such gorgeous scenery for bike riding! I have to admit that I would have loved to have one of those bikes when I was little! I do hope these paths are used a lot.

I'm a walker but could be tempted by that green bike with the flowery basket.

i prefer riding, only because walking is so very difficult for me. we are looking into a motorized bike for me. it looks just like a bike, you can peddle when you want to and then switch to the motor if you need too!!

those girls bikes are adorable!!!

Oh, those new bikes are interesting. Have never seen them before. And I love the mint green bicycle. They really fixed it up with the handlebars and basket in floral print, so cute. I think I'd rather walk the trail. ; )

You're right these are the prettiest girls bikes! Not sure about the enclosed one though I bet they are brilliant on a rainy day! I've been in e-scooters here in Bangkok. Watch out world!

When my son Reese took the job at Metrolina Greenhouse in North Carolina (350 acres under glass), he was assigned a bike to ride because of the long distances. Since he was the new kid on the block, they gave him a girls bike that was pike and lavender with sparkles. None of the other guys would ride it. He is secure in his masculinity so he laughed and hopped right on. As he traveled to the other sections, the guys would tease him and whistle as he passed. He loved the attention. When they hired a new girl that was short, they asked if he would be willing to let her have his. He was disappointed but since he is a gentleman, he passed it on. He said the new bike is boring.
