You'll be very glad I used mosaics to share photos I took on the Florida trails this week. We've gone on 3 hikes in this area and there are huge outcroppings of Limestone all along the trail.
And I love to photograph all the unusual 'sightings'!
How about an Alien? Can you see it?
Or a turtle?
This was actually part of the trail that you walk on. It looks like something emerging from the sand.
And would you stick your hand in here?
I double dare you! heeheehee!
Maybe some of these are where the fairies live!
A couple of mosaics...
to take part in the fun!
The trail itself is kind of dreamy.
But I wouldn't want to hike there after dark! Would you?

No I dont stitch my hand in holes like that Diane.:) But then my daughter says Kendall and I need shirts that say Indoorsy.
Stick my hand in there?! No way! Our natural environments give dreamers a lot of material for poems and stories.
If I was sure it was only the fairies, no problem, but there are a lot of venomous critters in Florida that can do you serious harm (and I don't just mean politicians) so I think I will keep my hands out of those holes, thank you very much!
The forest looks phenomenal, I'm mysteriously delighted with it.
I will only put my hand in Rome in the "Mouth of Truth" (Bocca della Verità).
Hugs and greetings from far away Poland.

Hello,
I see the alien and the turtle. Neat rock formations. There could be some critters living in the cave like openings. I wouldn't stick my hand in there, lol. The last shot of the trail is pretty. Have a great day and a happy new week!
never in the dark, but I sure would love to visit during the daylight hours. that alien is amazing, I saw it before I read the post, most of them look like some kind of critter. what a wonderful place to visit. love love the path
I'll keep my hands to myself, thank you. I love all the photos. The park is beautiful, but I would not want to walk there after dark. I'm chicken! You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.
😊the double dare photo is my favourite today. Very interesting photos and mosaics
Happy Monday
Much💗love
...lots of fun things to see, my trail is the beach with shells to discover. Have a wonderful day.
WOW!!! That hike was a little spooky!!
You can triple dog dare me and I am still not sticking my hand in there. LOL

I love this post! All the strange rock formations reminded me of Sweden, where we have trolls, faeries, and giants lurking in our forests. Great captures.
Dreamy trail for sure---Such strange outcroppings. Good to photograph though

Those rocks are really cool looking and same for the trees with the green moss. Have a nice week Diane.
you had some really cool sightings here. the turtle was really amazing...and the next one looked like a heart...for valentines day!!!
the trail itself is really beautiful, it has a very natural look!! i would not hike there alone or after dark!!
Looks like a great trail to hike and what interesting things to see along the way.
Oh heck no, woman, I am not sticking my hand in there. LOL I loved seeing all the creatures. I probably would have dug around on some of that stuff. LOL I think once upon a time I must have been a cat...curious you know. Glad you are getting your hikes in this week. Blessings to you and your hubby, xoxo, love, Susie
Those are all very interesting looking but I don't care how many times you dare me I will not stick my hand in there...lol
Not after dark!! And I would not put my hand in to any of those holes!! LOL Great photos!
Looks pretty moist with all the moss on the rocks. I took hikes this week, but in the drier desert. - Margy
I see them, the alien, the turtle, and all kinds of creatures. I didn't know limestone formed like this. Whoooo. I love your walks, and yes, only in the daytime for me, thank you very much.
Looks like that trail has great "scope for the imagination" as Anne of Green Gables says. The forest is a dreamy place to visit. We walked around a very muddy bog today!
This looks like the land of enchantment, Diane! I expected to see a fairy or gnome among the moss and lichen. Wonderful photos!
You can see miracles in the forist, if you have the eye! You sure do, and also the imagination.
Diane - I can see those creatures in your pictures. Tee-hee! I have been out walking, but most features of interest are buried under snow! Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday!
Lots of unusual things to see if you are aware like you are. Great post...the commentary is my favorite part 💕 Janey
Such interesting rocks! No, thank you, not puttin' my hand in there!
Yes, I see so many unusual things in these pictures you took. So interesting. No, I wouldn't hike this trail after dark. I wonder if the fairies are scared or not hehehe. Have a sweet day, Diane. Really love these photos. : )

After dark? No way! That alien would be sure to grab me! (I sure can see it!)
Definitely an alien. And I wouldn't like to hike anywhere after dark!
Very funny!
Especially your interpretation … 😅
Thank you for visiting!
Diane, what unusual rock formations! Love your descriptions. :=)
Oh you are having such a great time with your hikes! I would so love to go hiking with you someday! I know we would have such fun looking at the flora and fauna and other interesting discoveries. Thank you for sharing these limerock creatures from who knows where!! So cool!!! And, no, I would not put my hand in there. Snakes probably love to hide in places like that....
Yep, I absolutely see that alien and Nope, I absolutely would not stick my hand in that hole.
What a beautiful hike. Those mosaics are gorgeous. I would love to go on your hikes with you and explore with you. It seems like you always have so much fun!
Ooh, how pretty. If I lived in your area I'd want to place a chunk of that limestone in my garden!
Oh girl! You could NOT pay me to stick my hand in that hole! LOL! NOPE, NOPE, NOPE! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
What a wonderful post, Diane! Love all of the different photos, and your mosaics. Looks like a fun trail to hike on.

I always enjoy what one can run into during hike. Your photos are amazing!
The last rock photo or photo #7 looks like a T-Rex skull to me.
As always, I love your photos.
fairies are everywhere...they just allow special people to see them.
Great selection of photographs and I definitely saw an alien!
All the best Jan
