We found 'Gnome Valley'!

I love naming the trails we hike and special places we find!

We hit the jackpot on our hike over the weekend!

We started at the 49th Ave Trailhead and headed West.

After awhile we got on what I call a primitive trail (one that takes off through the woods and is not paved).

And about the time we needed to make our turn we found the Gnome village!

Deep into the woods!

They were SO sweet!

And really made the hike special!

We found 2 little gnome homes!

But what do you think? Should I trade my pink cap for one of the gnome hats?

Hmmmmm....I'll count the votes in the comments!

Pink cap or tall pointed Gnome hat?

I'm joining Angie for Mosaic Monday HERE .

Hello,

Looks like another great hike, pretty trail. The Gnome village is a neat find. I prefer your pink hat, you look cute. Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy new week!

I vote for your pink hat. the reason being, although you would look cute in a gnome hat, there is no bill to protect your eyes and face from Florida sun.PLUS the fact someone might poke you in one of the caves and make you stay

You have found a very beautiful village of gnomes!
No, don't take the pink hat off your head …
If you put on the gnome hats you will be a gnome forever!
Just kidding!
Wishing you a nice day!

I just wrote an email to Madsnapper Sandra about the trails you hike and how fabulous I think they are. Coming from Sweden where the forests are full of these guys, trolls, giants, and faeries, I think you hit the jackpot on this trail

But please keep your pink hat.

That made for a fun hike and quite clever by someone, but I love that pink hat. You are too cute in it to swap!

How cool! We were on a hike yesterday and since I'm one of those folks that paints and hides rocks I kept thinking I should have brought some. But man, they can get heavy plus with it being a state park I wasn't sure they'd be too keen on the idea but I LOVE the little gnome houses, but stick with your hat. LOL

Love the pink hat. I'd keep it if I were you! I guess most of the trails here are "Primitive" for paved ones are far and few between. Love the little painted rock gnome. Happy hiking, Diane!

I bet kids love that trail. We have one called the Trinket Trail for kids. Hikers leave small items and can pick up one to take home. - Margy

Diane - how adorable. God Bless the someone who took such care with the gnomes to give them a beautiful woodsy home! I think I prefer your baseball cap over the pointy hat! Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday!

Absolutely adorable pictures of the gnome neighborhood, love these!!--so cute! My favorite picture is the one of YOU TAKING THE PICTURES of them. Nope...don't ever trade in your pink cap.....it's 100 % YOU and completes your hiking outfits just perfectly. I still can't get over the SIZE OF THE pretty little "kitty cat" you saw on the trail a post or so back.....yikes, that CAT WAS A BIG ONE. I would be stunned to have one of those go running right in front of me, ha ha LOL! we've had foxes, rabbits, squirrels, deer, but never a big cat like that one. It was a beauty for sure.

Gnome Village - that is too cute. : ) How funny that you found this little hideaway on one of your trails. Love that blue little rock at the entrance. The other girl gnome with the red hat is sweet as ever. But don't trade your pink cap - it looks cute on you.

Diane, how do you keep so clean and bright after a hike in the wilderness? You look so gorgeous in your white outfit and pink hat! Love the little gnomes too. ♥
