Questions and Answers and 3D Objects!

I get questions in my comments that I never answer. Why is that? I have no excuse...so please forgive me!

So I'll start with how I did the photos on this post! I use Photoscape for photo editing. I just have the free version but I was working playing around this week and found under the editing button a group of edits called Transformations. And then at the very bottom of that list was 3D Objects!

OH MY! I wanted to make every photo I've ever taken 3D!

I just thought they looked SO very cool!

Oh but that doesn't answer your questions!

What color is my house and roof? My house is lavender gray and my roof is pewter.

What would I do if I saw an alligator on the trail when I hike? Turn around or give it a wide berth. Alligators aren't roaming around everywhere here in FL. We only see them in the swamps and rivers. Most of the trails we hike or high and dry and we have a better chance of seeing a bear. (there was a sighting last week on the very trail I hike most)

Is the Earthstar mushroom only here in Florida? I think it is in several Southern states.

Have I read the book Love, Ruby Lavender? I'm reading it right now! Thanks!

Do I have a screen door on my garage door? YES! It slides over enough to drive one car in at a time. And then we have a regular garage door that comes down. But during the day, we leave the screens pulled close to allow air in the garage. We also have a ceiling fan in our garage that we turn on during hot summer days...like now!

What do we call ceiling fans here in the South? Florida Chandeliers! (that's a bonus question)

Do we still travel to NC every year? We usually do! Right now everything seems to be on hold.

What am I missing?

In the comments today ask me anything! I'll answer soon! Really I will!

I live in North Central Florida! Keep those questions coming!

I like Thursdays HERE too!

I just made a comment on another blog that I needed to find something to help me get my noodle working and now here you have given it to me and I can't wait to go find the word transformations. I thought I had seen everything in photoscape but I miss that somehow. I love boat escape and I don't ever go in PicMonkey anymore the new PicMonkey they made it to many steps and it won't work on my old computers that needs a new computer photoscape works fine on my old computer. Thanks for all the answers to all the questions great idea

Hello,

Your images are really cool, great editing. I love your last shadow shot. The green heron is great and the teapot is cute. Great quotes.
I would like to see a bear on the trail. Take care and stay safe! Enjoy your day!

Thanks for sharing about the photo editing program. Your photos are fun! Scary about the bear seen on a trail you hike!!! Stay cool and have a lovely day.

You know I always see these homes that have taken their ceiling fans down for beautiful lighting fixtures and I am like how do they do that? I did see one the other day with a table fan that moves from side to side, but good grief I totally need ceiling fans. I have always loved those garage screens. I think I would like one but haven't been able to talk Hubby into one yet.
You are right about the bear sightings over the alligators. I am always on the lookout for bears even in our neighborhoods. They are all over the place here.
We used to have a special code at one school I taught at to head in for a bear heading onto the campus.
I hope you like Love, Ruby Lavender. Let me know if you do:)

Very cool photos. I have one for you - What area of Florida are you in? I've always assumed central Florida but can't recall you ever mentioning it. Have a great day :)

First, this is the perfect way to answer questions!!!!! ~smile~ Some people "answer" them, right in their own comments.

But who has the time, to go back, and re-read a post/comments, where you have already read and commented???

This is an Answer Post. Purrrrfect!!!!!

My question was about the possible screen door on your garage. Excellent idea. As long as you have a secure regular garage door, to let down, at night.

That 3-D thing is cool.

What's really cool, is how they give the Illusion, of 3-D!!!!

It's interesting, how the human eye can be tricked, into thinking a flat picture, is actually 3-D.

Wow, your Photoscape thing is so cool. I love the 3D and would be doing exactly the same thing as you did.

Just found your blog and will enjoy reading from now on! I live in Eastern TN, but spend several weeks each summer in the high country of Western North Carolina and several weeks each winter in the panhandle of Florida! It's a nice routine! Lavender is also my favorite color and has been since childhood. I suspect you'd say the same. Thanks for writing a lovely blog. I look forward to reading more.

I had the free version of Photoscape on my old computer, but I think I shall have to download to this one. Transformations look very cool. A screen door on a garage sounds like a great idea! Never heard of such a thing!

Hello, how are you?
Some of these questions are quite strange.
I was once asked if wild animals walk normally
here in Brazil. And if there are a lot of monkeys, lol, lol.
Thank you for visiting and for liking my little garden because you have beautiful plants in your garden.
I love it when you put your flowers.
Thanks for visiting and have a nice week.

Interesting what you did with the pictures.
Are you hiking paths pretty level or do you have hills to walk up and down too?

Diane, love your Q & A's! Do you get many tornadoes in your area? xo

I may have to check out that Photoscape photo editor thing. That is really neat. Is that on your computer or your phone? I still use Picasa to edit my pictures, but it is kind of limited. Love all your answers to our questions! What a great idea! I know it is funny that people who don't live in Florida think we must have alligators everywhere. Thankfully we don't...and I am praying none ever get in our pond. That would certainly spoil it for me...there would be no more kayaking! Oh I hope you still get to go to NC. Do you usually go in the summer or fall? Either would be wonderful. If it is your own home, why couldn't you go? Just wondering.
Take care and thank you for this lovely post today.

That's nice of you to answer friend's questions. Right on your blog, you did a post about it, that's thoughtful. I usually go straight to the person's blog and answer their questions or e-mail them. That 3D tea pot looks very cool. : )

Looks like I wasn't the only one curious about that cool garage door!! LOL. I have NEVER HEARD OF or seen "earthstars"....so neat how I learn all kinds of things from your hikes and from all blogs, really. We learn so much from each other. Well, the weekend has arrived and it's another scorcher....what y'all got planned? We're just trying to find fun things to do in the cool right now. I hate the heat but come fall and winter...us folks down here have it made don't we?--with our mild nice days when others are buried in snow and ice. LOL. But goodness, southern summers are awful hot. Hope y'all are doing well, stay safe and stay healthy my friend!

Fun fun fun! I have trouble remembering to get back to people who ask questions too ...sometimes by the time I email the person with an answer, I’m sure they’ve forgotten the question (and probably forgotten who I am). this kind of post is a great idea. I really want to try photoscape now.
