Holiday Decor....come on in!

 Welcome to my Florida home!

I'll just lead you through the house and we'll find a few holiday touches here and there.

You'll need your sunglasses INSIDE if the brightness bothers you.

Hard to get good photos with the curtains open but we don't want it to be dark inside either!

Living Room

And yes, I've played the piano some lately. I'm out of practice! lol

The bookcases....

more bookcases....

the kitchen....

and the lanai.

We'll finish with the baker's rack in the lanai.

I didn't do as much this year. We need time to hike!

I almost forgot Wendy and Sophie!

And my favorite photo....

the jewelry tree in my bedroom.

I'm going to take a couple of weeks off to enjoy more time outdoors. The weather is fabulous at this time of year. So I'm wishing you all Happy Holidays!

Enjoy this special time and let's all be thankful for our blessings.

See you on the Florida Trails!

I'm joining Angie for Mosaic Monday HERE .

I loved seeing your home. I also love all those bookshelves filled with books! Enjoy your hikes. It is too snowy, icy and muddy to do much hiking here right now. Merry Christmas to you!

Diane,
Your home is so pretty and festive. I really love the Happiness mosiac and the Peace and jewelry tree. But, they are all beautiful decorations and photos.
Have a happy week! I wish you and your family a very Happy Christmas!

Oh, it is all so lovely!! I love your dolls and books and trees and so many pretty colorful touches! I understand about the brightness. Today is quite cloudy here, so thankfully we can keep the blinds open and enjoy the view of the pond. On sunny days we have to close them because it gets too bright (and hot). But we are blessed to live in Florida in the winter, right? Yes, enjoy those hikes while you can! It's going to get a bit colder this next week or so, but still, even then, we are blessed...no snow or ice! Have a blessed and wonderful Christmas!! Thank you for this lovely tour. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I love your red sofas! Your home doesn't need much for it to be Christmas ready. Plus, red (and pink) is my favorite color. I also love seeing your dollies! You are ready for Santa's visit. Merry Christmas, Sweet Friend!

Christmas decorations are the best! Yours are lovely! Sadly, I do not decorate as much as I used to. It's more difficult as we age, to lug all the totes down from the garage attic and down to the basement. So I have downsized a lot! Love all your books and your door wreath is lovely. Have a great hiatus! See you back in 2022!

I had never heard the word lanai till I watched Golden Girls decades ago. Your house is so lovely, every room bursting with personal touches and momentos, it seems. What lovely collections. Now is the framed piece in the kitchen a cross stitched work? Just curious. A very Happy New Year to you, Diane!

Thank you for sharing your lovely home! I love your red sofa, bookshelves and dolls, especially the little one "reading"!

I'm finishing a very bright and colorful quilt (to be posted soon), but some comments have left me questioning myself. But, you know, I love the quilt...it makes me happy. Your comment about brightness and sunglasses was such an encouragement to simply enjoy this quilt - and pass out sunglasses! LOL!
